2 The Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA) Scottish Regional Show Affiliation No TGCA/07/18/022 TGCA TOYS In Hand and Ridden Classes Show Number TGCA/07/18/022 Pure Bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all pure bred traditional gypsy cobs. Part Bred classes, are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at TOYS. The exhibit must have one parent that is pure bred traditional gypsy cob, a minimum of 50% breeding is accepted. Stallions All stallions (pure or part bred, four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Please refer to for further details including membership, horse registration and showing rules (contained within the members handbook). Quest for a Star/Go for Glory Championship Shows Pure Breds that are placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS. Part Breds that are placed 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd from the part bred TGCA classes may go forward to the Go for Glory Championship. For 2018 and 2019 qualifiers there is no requirement for membership or registration (apart from stallions) on the date of the show. The Champion and Reserve qualify

In Hand Solid Coloured - any sex TGCA Youngstock Championship. Open to top two from classes 1 to 5 TGCA Quest for a Star Youngstock Championship. Open to the top three from classes 1 to 5. Open to TGCA members with registered cobs. Membership cards must be presented. Champion and Reserve go forward to the Ultimate Star Youngstock Championship at TOYS. Champion and Reserve go forward to Supreme In Hand. Four Years and over PURE BRED TRADITIONAL GYPSY COBS SENIOR IN HAND 6. Stallion In Hand - any height 7. Mare In Hand - any height. Mares may show with foal at foot. 8. Gelding In Hand - any height 9. In Hand Coloured - any height, any sex 10. In Hand Solid Coloured - any height, any sex Classes 6 10 may be split if into height sections of not to exc 148 cm and 148 cm and above if entries permit. Qualification is split into heights. TGCA Senior In Hand Championship. Open to top two from classes 6 to 10 TGCA Quest for a Star Senior In Hand Championship. Open to the top three from classes 6 to 10. Open to TGCA members with registered cobs. Membership cards must be presented. Champion and Reserve go forward to the Ultimate Star Senior In Hand Championship at TOYS. Champion and Reserve go forward to Supreme In Hand. TGCA Supreme In Hand of Show Championship Open to Champion and Reserve from the Youngstock, Quest Youngstock, Senior In Hand and Quest Senior In Hand Championships.

Coloured, including any other colour (spots, roans etc) - any height, any sex 21. Junior ridden. Rider 18 years and under. Open to any height or sex. Lead rein included. 22. Novice or green cob. Exhibits not to have been 1st in any affiliated class. prior to Jan 1st in the current year. Open to any height or sex Classes may be split if into height sections of not to exc 148 cm and 148 cm and above if entries permit. Qualification is split into heights. TGCA Ridden Championship. Open to top two from classes 16 to 22. TGCA Quest for a Star Ridden Championship. Open to the top three from classes 16 to 22. Open to TGCA members with registered cobs. Membership cards must be presented. Champion and Reserve go forward to the Ultimate Star Ridden Championship at TOYS. Champion and Reserve go forward to Supreme In Hand. TGCA Supreme Ridden of Show Championship Open to Champion and Reserve from the Open Ridden and Quest Ridden Championships. PART BRED TRADITIONAL GYPSY COBS RIDDEN 23. Stallions, Mares, Geldings not to exceed 148 cm 24. Stallions, Mares, Geldings 148 cm and above TGCA Go for Glory Ridden Championship Open to the top three from classes 23 to 24. For 2018 and 2019 qualifiers there is no requirement for TGCA Supreme of Show Part Bred Championship Open to Champion and Reserve from the Youngstock, In Hand and Ridden Championships.
