Canadian horses born before January 1, 1985 must be registered with the American Morgan Horse Association, Inc. or have Canadian Morgan Horse Club registration papers showing an American registration number. Canadian horses born after January 1, 1985, can be shown with Canadian registration papers as long as the papers do not state not eligible for U.S. reciprocity. Horses must be entered under the names of the owner(s) of lessee of record with AMHA, CHMA or BMHS. 6 General Information and Regulations Registration Papers and Membership Numbers: All Morgan and Saddlebred exhibitors must supply a copy of registration papers with entry. A negative Coggins Test, dated no earlier than 12/1/2017, must be presented for all entries. All classes will be judged in accordance with the current USEF & MHSA Rules. Liability: Every possible courtesy and protection will be extended to exhibitors, but neither the Show Office Services, employees; nor the Shiawassee County Fair, its volunteers and employees will be liable or responsible in any way for any loss or injury. Each exhibitor shall indemnify and hold harmless the management from all claims as a condition of entry. Management reserves the right to remove anyone from the show grounds without being liable for compensation. Show Office Services reserves the absolute and final right to interpret the rules and regulations and arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, differences and questions in regard to or otherwise arising out of, connected with or incident to the show, without claim, damage or recourse of any kind. NO DISPUTE WILL BE DISCUSSED WHILE THE SHOW IS IN SESSION. There will be no refund of entry or stall fees for any reason Challenge of the Breed Classes and all non-specified breed classes are open to any breed or combination of breeds. Braiding optional in Hunt Seat Classes. Riders in Lead Line are ineligible for any other class. Riders in Walk & Trot Classes are ineligible in any class where the canter is required. Headers are required in Walk & Trot Classes during line up. Entries in Championship Classes must first qualify by showing in another class in the same section. Morgan Classic Pleasure Saddle may cross enter other English Pleasure Classes Classes may be added or combined or moved at the Show Managements option. Entries We encourage advance entries to make the work of the office staff easier and to be sure the show moves along promptly. Stabling 1. Stalls may be reserved in advance by calling the show secretary at No bedding will be provided but will be available on grounds 3. Stalls reserved in advance must be paid for. 4. Horses may not arrive prior to noon on Wednesday, July Inspect your stalls prior to stalling a horse in them. Show Office Services will not be held liable for any injuries resulting from stabling. Notify the stabling manager immediately if your assigned stall (s) have any safety issues. We will gladly reassign your stall if necessary. 6. This show is being held in conjunction with AHAM shows.
