2 = Rules & Regulations Horses in Action = 1. All relevant registration papers must be produced if required 2. Random swabbing may be conducted throughout the show by the EA 3. Protests lodged must be lodged with the Secretary with the fee of $30 within 30 minutes of completion of event. This will be refunded if protest upheld. The Committee s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into: Dispute Committee: President, Secretary, Judge, Convenor + Committee Member 4. Exhibitors must be current financial members of the Kapunda & Light Agricultural Society Inc. All stock must be registered or recorded with their respective organisations (where applicable) 5. The Show Society reserve the right to combine any event with less than 4 entries 6. The Show Society reserves the right to cancel, alter or change any event at its discretion 7. The Show Society reserve the right to remove any exhibitor from the grounds for improper conduct 8. The Judge s decision is final on the day 9. All ages are ages of riders on the day of competition 10. Horses in the Open Royal Qualifying Ring must be either Hack OR Show Hunter NOT both. 11. All exhibitors to abide by relevant EA & Australian Driving Society Rules & Regulations at all times. Random swabbing may be conducted throughout the show by relevant authorities. 12. All riders must wear APPROVED Helmets & Boots whilst mounted on their horses. 13. HORSE COMPETITIORS ARE REQUIRED TO TIE UP HORSES AT ALL TIMES WHEN UNATTENDED. THIS REQUEST IS TO BE STRICLTY ADHERED TO AND IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY TO THE GROUNDS. 14. Riding of Horses on Trotting Track is prohibited, other than designated crossings/entry points to rings 15. Vehicles on Trotting Track are NOT permitted 16. Day & Campers Parking must be orderly Map provided for parking 17. Competitors are asked to strictly adhere to areas that have been either roped off or marked NO PARKING. This is also a condition of entry. 18. Camping Fee: $15.00 all unpowered sites. 19. Please leave your Parking Space in a clean and tidy condition. Straw & Manure to be left heaped for pickup and string to be placed in the Rubbish Bins provided 20. Dogs must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES - Failure to do so will result in removal from grounds without refund 21. No Horses in the Entertainment Complex 22. No tying horses or yards to any permanent fixtures, e.g. power boxes or outside fence. 23. Prize money and any accompanying awards i.e. bags of chaff, vouchers, will be forfeited if not collected before December The Committee reserves the right to cancel, alter or change any event at its discretion. 25. Horse Yards: Please be aware of underground irrigation lines. You will be responsible to any necessary repairs. Maximum size per horse yard: 4m x 4m. ** Riding of Horses on Trotting Track is prohibited other than designated crossings/entry points to rings ** ** Day Parking permitted on ambulance track with horses to be tied up on the oval** All Jumping classes are to be conducted under the EA National Jumping Rules All horses participating in classes 1.05m and above are required to be registered with EA and hold a current Competition Licence. Owners of said horses are also required to be a competitive or a supporter member of EA. Competition Licences will be required to be produced on request. Junior riders may compete in both Junior and Senior competitions on the same horse

Will only be provided if a Veterinary Certificate or Doctors Certificate is produced for applicable horse &/or rider. Refunds requests must be in writing and have supporting evidence of sufficient documentation. The Veterinary Certificate or Doctors Certificate must be dated prior to competitions date/s or the date of competition. Refunds will be excluding a $10 administration fee. NOTE: Rider/Combinations will not be allowed to compete until ALL applicable fees are paid.
