Please return completed entry forms and BACS form to: Marion S Lawton National Museum of Rural Life Philipshill Road East Kilbride G76 9HR You can pay your entry fee by: Cheque made payable to National Museums Scotland and sent in along with the entry form By card by telephoning Marion Lawton on prior to sending in the entry form TIMINGS Judging for Shetland ponies and Clydesdales will start at approximately 10am

2 Confirmation of judging times will be sent out in advance of the show. Please note times are subject to change. GENERAL SHOW RULES For health and safety reasons, there will be a designated pedestrian area. No horses will be allowed in this area. Exhibitors should observe all signage in place. Only one handler and one assistant per horse allowed in the collecting ring and arena. Due to health and safety reasons, only able bodied persons will be allowed in the collecting ring and arena. We reserve the right to have our senior stewards disallow any animal from entering the arena should it be deemed unsafe. NOTE: all animals will be vetted on arrival HEAVY HORSE SCHEDULE HALTER CLASSES Class 1 Class 2 Class 3 Class 4 Class 5 Class 6 Class 7 Gelding 6 years old and over Gelding 3 to 5 years old Colt or gelding 2 years old Colt or gelding 1 year old Brood mare with foal at foot Colt foal Filly foal

3 Class 8 Class 9 Class 10 Class 11 Yeld mare 3 years old and over Filly 2 years old Filly 1 year old Ridden Class Maximum entries in all classes 10 Entry fee: per animal Appearance money: per class (see notes below) Rosettes to 5 th place A maximum of appearance money paid per class, i.e. more than one horse entered will only receive Appearance money will be deposited in bank accounts after show. ALL HORSES SHOULD BE AT THE SHOW FIELD BY 9am All horses should be shod to CHS guidelines. HEAVY HORSE TURNOUTS Class I Class II Class III Single horse, twin axle commercial vehicle. Pair of horses, twin axle commercial vehicle. Single axle, two wheeled buggy. Entry fee: 20 per class Appearance money: 100 per horse Rosettes to 5 th place. To qualify for appearance money, competitors must also enter & show at least ONE driving horse in the halter class.

Donated by Mr & Mrs Martin Lignite Trophy for Champion Miniature Shetland Pony donated by Lorna Jamieson Trophy for Best Miniature Foal donated by Lorna Jamieson Cochno Trophy for champion Standard Pony donated by James Farrell The Shetland section is affiliated to the Shetland Pony Stud-Book Society. Highland Section Trophy for Overall Champion Trophy for Reserve Champion, donated by Lorna and Fraser Boyd Trophy for Overall Supreme Champion judged over above three sections.
