Classes H24 H31 1st nd rd Medal to the winner of each class. Rosettes to all competitors. All prize money must be collected on the day of the show. VETERINARY ON CALL FARRIER ON CALL NEWARK COMMUNITY FIRST AID IN ATTENDANCE SHOW RULES ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE BEFORE COMPETING AT THE SHOW All competitors when mounted must wear a skull cap or hat and safety harness according to the current approved BSI or European Standard at all times. No refunds or cancellation of entry fees permitted. Dogs should be kept on leads at all times. Horses and Ponies must be attended at all times when tied to the outside of a lorry or trailer. The organising Committee accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, injury or damage to any person or their property whilst on the showground, car parks or approaches. Only horses & ponies entered at the show may be ridden on the show ground. Please use litter bins provided. No lorries or trailers to be cleaned out on the show ground

3 AFFILIATIONS - B.S.P.S AFFILIATION All B.S.P.S. classes are open to members and non - members of the society This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the Rules of the B.S.P.S, including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S Black Country Saddles Best Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Pony, Mixed Height SHP, Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height WHP, the Intermediate Show Riding Type and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships Show. This Show is a qualifier for the 2017 B.S.P.S Premier League the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the Lead Rein and First Ridden, Mixed Height Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony, Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height Working Hunter Pony, Intermediate Show Riding and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes will qualify. This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show Pony, the Champion Mini WHP, the Champion Open Show Pony, the Champion Open WHP/WH, the Champion Open SHP will qualify. The first placed ponies in the Heritage Open Mountain and Moorland Classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S Industrial Salt Supplies WOW FACTOR ( Winner of Winners ) at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships This Show is a qualifier for the 2017 B.S.P.S. Summer Championships Show, to be held at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincs. The 1st and 2nd prize winners in the appropriate classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S. Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rules 23 and 28 and ridden by a BSPS member. Riders must be the correct height of the pony they ride. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1 st January in the current year The winner will qualify for the B.S.P.S Champion of Champions B.S.P.S Mixed Height Open Show Hunter Pony Open to mare or gelding four years old and over not exceeding 153cms. Riders must be the correct age for the height of the animal they are riding. The winner will qualify for the B.S.P.S Champion of Champions B.S.P.S Lead Rein Pony of Hunter Type Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms.Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. 9 RING TWO UNAFFILIATED CLASSES Not commencing before 12noon Competitors competing in these classes and who are eligible to receive the Collingham and District award for those living within a 5miles radius of the showground must wear a white armband. Please see map in the secretary s office for clarification of area. We ask that competitors who enter these classes do so in the spirit that they are intended for. Riders to be over 16 years old on the day of the show Best Ridden Pony Open to mare or gelding four years old and over not exceeding 148cms. Riders to be 16 years old and under on the day of the show. No lead reins permitted. Best Rider- 12 years old and under Open to mare or gelding four years old and over. Riders to be 12 years old and under on the day of the show. Ponies to be suitable height for rider. The winner to receive The C A HOLBROOK CUP Best Rider Lead Rein Open to mare or gelding four years old and over not to exceed 128cms Riders to be 10 years old and under on the day of the show. To be led by person 16 years old and over. Riding Club Pony Open to ponies four years old and over not exceeding 153cm, riders any age. No lead reins permitted. Competitors will be required to jump a small cross pole. The highest placed Collingham and District competitor to receive The DICKENSON CUP Mountain and Moorland In Hand Small and Large breeds, stallion, mare or gelding any age. Class may be divided depending on entries. Ponies must be registered in their respective stud books. Stallions may only be shown by adults 16 years and over Best Conditioned Horse or Pony In Hand Open to horses and ponies four years old and over. In Hand Veteran Open to horses and ponies 15 years old and over.
