2 Show Rules and Regulations 1. The Show is run under the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Australia Inc Show Regulations. (for regulations please visit 2. All foals competing must be eligible for registration with their respective breed and/or colour society. 3. Youngstock must be registered with their respective breed and/or colour society. 4. Exhibitors must be current financial members of the relevant breed societies for which they are exhibiting. 5. All foals must be weaned and born after 1 August No mares will be allowed in the ring. 7. No foals to be bitted, as per breed regulations. 8. Clipping/Trimming/Presentation foals and youngstock must be exhibited as per their breed society regulations & standard of excellence e.g. Welsh must not be body clipped, RPSB must be plaited etc. 9. The onus is on the exhibitor to ensure that he/she has sufficient handlers for all exhibits. Rings will be held for Championship/Supreme clashes only. 10. Exhibitors WILL NOT be accepted into the rings without a signed Insurance Indemnity Waivers (available on the day) or the WPCS Annual Membership Waiver card produced. Insurance bands will be available on the morning of the show. No insurance band no entry into the ring. 11. Show sub-committee role & responsibilities 1. Every exhibitor or competitor shall be bound by and observe the decisions of the Show Sub-committee. 2. The Show Sub-committee reserves the right to adjudicate upon entry or upon any dispute and to make any determination upon any matter relevant to the show. This decision shall be final and not subject to appeal of any kind. 3. The Show Sub-committee reserves the right to disqualify any exhibit that, in its opinion, appears to be in poor condition at the time of showing. 4. The Show Sub-committee reserves the right to combine classes if there are insufficient entries. 5. If an exhibitor is asked by the judge to leave the ring due to it being dangerous or disruptive (WP&CS Rule 1) the entry fee will be forfeited. 12. All exhibits must enter & leave the ring at a walk 13. Cancellation Policy in accordance with the WPCS of A Inc Extreme Weather & Cancellation Policy, if a Code Red Catastrophic Fire Warning/Flood or travel warnings/disease outbreaks is predicted this event shall be cancelled. Emergency cancellation contact: Refund Policy (i) If an event has commenced there shall be no refunds.(ii) If an event is cancelled prior to the commencement of an event costs incurred by the Show Committee prior to the event will be paid & remaining funds will be reimbursed to the exhibitor if the amount per exhibitor is $2.00 or more (iii) If an event is postponed, entry fees will not be refunded without a written request from the exhibitor within 7 days of the notification of postponement.

3 ALL BREEDS FOAL $WEEPSTAKE$ JUDGE: DUDLEY NEWHAM All foals eligible to compete. To be judged by an individual who has/had extensive involvement in the horse industry. Total of class entries will be divided as prize money as follows: winner to receive 60 percent plus prize, second place to receive 25 percent and third place to receive 15 percent. This class will be judged at the conclusion of the foal classes. ALL BREEDS YEARLINGS, 2 & 3 Y.O. $WEEPSTAKE$ JUDGE: DUDLEY NEWHAM All yearlings and 2 & 3 y.o. eligible to compete. To be judged by an individual who has/had extensive involvement in the horse industry. Total of class entries will be divided as prize money as follows: winner to receive 60 percent plus prize, second place to receive 25 percent and third place to receive 15 percent. This class will be judged at the conclusion of the foal sweepstakes. If necessary, yearling and 2/3 y.o. colts will have a separate class to fillies and geldings.
