(SSADL) The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced First Round Qualifiers only are open to both members and non-members of SSADL No Spurs, Galloping, Wearing of Face /Body Jewellery. Foals are NOT permitted SSADL Classes. For In Hand Classes- Minimum age of handler =9 yrs old STALLIONS- Either for In Hand or Ridden classes, Competitors Must be 16 years of age or over. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers. The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December Once a competitor has qualified for the Olympia Grand Final they may continue to compete at any 2nd Round Qualifiers, but they will NOT be eligible to enter the Olympia Qualifying Championships. In this instance the second placed competitor will be eligible for this championship. Once a competitor has qualified for Olympia in the Ridden section they are NOT allowed to qualify in the In-Hand section and vice versa. 9 TGCA TOYS In Hand and Ridden Classes Qualifying Rules Affiliation number - TGCA/07/18/112 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Members with registered cobs - Please do your TOYS entries immediately online to take advantage of pre-entry prices. TOYS 2018 pre-entries close on the 2 nd July! For those Non-Members Providing your membership application and over stamp application with your cob s passport is posted first class within 7 days, you will be able to take part at TOYS 2018 with entries on the day. If membership and registration is not completed, before the start of TOYS, you will need to use your qualification for TOYS Pure Bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all pure bred traditional gypsy cobs. Part Bred classes, are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at TOYS. The exhibit must have one parent that is pure bred traditional gypsy cob, a minimum of Stallions All stallions (pure or part bred, four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Quest for a Star Championship In hand and Ridden THIS IS A 2018/19 QUALIFIER 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS.

10 CHAPS Qualifier Rules This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However, in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 30th August-1st September The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers [Classes & 28]. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit for rulings. All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception. Veteran Horse Society AREA QUALIFIER 2018.Rules First round qualifier for the Veteran Horse Society Supreme Final: VETERAN HORSE OF THE YEAR 2018 Kindly Sponsored by Allen & Page. Open to members and non-members. All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS Rules in all circumstances. Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification. VHS Regional Final qualification. All competitors placed 1 st to 4 th in each age category will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members must carry their cards in the ring and have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for signed

11 showing card when applying for VHS membership. It is the competitor s responsibility to present their Showing card to the judge. Regional Finals are open to members only. 12 Royal London Show This show is affiliated to the International Showing Society and is a qualifier for the Royal London Show First, second and third placed horses/ponies in eligible classes not already qualified will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 21 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required. CHERWELL S RULES & REGULATIONS A 3 POINT FASTENING CHINSTRAP SAFETY HAT TO THE CURRANT SAFETY STANDARDS PAS015:2011, the VG and ASTM F1163:04a MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES JUDGES (a) The judge's decision in case of awards is final (b) Judges may withhold prizes if none of the exhibits are worthy of same (c) No judge may offer prizes other than which are shown in the official prize list (d) No person may address the judge whilst adjudicating unless requested to do so by him (e) any person disputing the judge's decision or causing a disturbance or annoyance to the judge whilst adjudicating shall be removed from the ring or tent. JUDGES INTEREST IN ENTRIES. Exhibitors are particularly requested to pay special attention to the name of the judge appointed in the classes they are entering, and not to knowingly enter an animal that has been OWNED or BRED by said judge. Where a judge has a continuing business or financial

17 connection with an exhibitor he/she should NOT judge an animal entered by that exhibitor. HATS. Anyone riding a horse/pony anywhere on the showground MUST wear a hard hat to the standard required by the governing body under whose rules he/she is exhibiting. SPURS. Spurs may ONLY be worn by riders 16 years & over. OTHER SOCIETY RULES Where the Association shall hold a section or class under the rules of another body (such as the IMHPS, MHOYS, TGCA, RL, TGCA, Trailblazers) the rules of such body shall prevail. REFUNDS. ONLY by producing a VETS certificate or Doctors certificate. Under NO circumstances will entry fees be refunded in the case of cancellation of entries by an exhibitor PHONES. Mobile phones are strictly forbidden whilst in the ring EQUINE PASSPORTS. ALL equines MUST have a passport (England) regulation 2004, passports must be with said animal, and be available for inspection if required/requested. Exhibitors MUST comply with the current rules & regulations on Animal Gatherings & Movements in force at the time of the show according to DEFRA & BCMS requirements. The organisers, Judges & Stewards will not tolerate ANT verbal abuse of ANY kind. Any fall of a horse/rider/handler will result in immediate disqualification, & they will be asked to leave the ring on foot leading the pony/horse out. The organisers Judges/Stewards/Officials will NOT accept ANY Liability for Loss/Damage/Accident or Injury sustained or occasioned by any person, or the property of such persons whilst entering on or leaving the premises, however caused, and any such person shall indemnify and hold harmless.
