1 Seymour Agricultural & Pastoral Schedule SECTION A - Horses Affiliated with Equestrian Victoria & VAS Ltd HORSE CO-ORDINATOR Cassie Cleave secretary@seymouragshow.org.au *Conducted under current Equestrian Victoria Show Horse Rules, VAS Ltd & various Breed Society regulations as amended. *To take advantage of the discounted entries, & membership applications and membership fees must be received by Secretary no later than Monday 24 September 2018 *Competitors compete at own risk (Recommended that each entrant be self-insured) *Competitors are reminded that the use of tranquillizers, stimulants, or any drugs capable of affecting the performance or behaviour of animals is forbidden. Random swabbing may take place under VAS Ltd and Equestrian Victoria Rules *Stallions & colts are ineligible in all ridden classes except breeds. Any Stallion or colt present on the showgrounds must have a bit in its mouth, or chain controlling halter *Judge s decision is final. *All riders must wear current Australian standard approved helmets (AS/NZS 3838, EN1384, ASTN F1163) and restraining harness must be secured and fastened at all times. *In classes where a rider s age is specified under 18, short boots must be worn. *All horses & ponies in height classes must have current height certificate. Measuring stand will be open from 7.45 am to 9 am on show day. *FIRST SEASON/NEWCOMER classes are open to those exhibits eligible to compete in the same classes at VAS Ltd 2018 and Barastoc *All horses entered in specific breed classes must have current registration papers & exhibitors must produce them upon request & owners must be current financial members of relevant breed society. *In Rings 1 3 competitors who win an Open or Show Hunter Championship should not enter the equivalent classes in another ring. *Show Hunter classes horses must have plain brow bands, no multi coloured hair ribbons, no flowers/decoration on lapels & junior riders should not wear top boots *Horses are not to be tied to any fixtures in the Park such as BBQ areas, fences etc *All rings will be on the main arena or as specified. *Entry to Kings Park will be via the Tallarook Street Gate 1, please look for traffic signs to gain entry. *Entry Fees: (Rings 1-7 only) For Rings 8 & 9 please refer to the corresponding sections. *$4 PER CLASS without membership *50% DISCOUNTED ENTRY TICKET ($2.00 per class) WITH PURCHASE OF MEMBERSHIP TICKET ($35.00) must be purchased by September 21, Discount only applies on entries received by 21 September *ENTRIES: Online / via PO Box 6 Seymour Vic 3661 / in person to A & P Office in last week. 1

RIDDEN CLASSES: Horses can be competed in all three (3) ridden classes (Open Gender, Novice, Foundation) if they match all criteria. Horses may not be accepted into Foundation classes after the open clases at the Judge/SPPHAV Committee's descretion if they believe a horse has shown adequate canter ability. NOVICE CLASSES: means not to have won 5 first Ribbons or Championship Sashes in any Standardbred ring in a class of the same description prior to this show.
