3 Rotary Club of Seaford Onkaparinga Seaside Walk for Suicide Prevention Day Sunday 9 September Exchange Student Report - Jorja Blue Italy Hello it's Jorja, I know it has been a while since my last report but I wanted to wait until I had completed the past 4 weeks. The past 4 weeks was amazing.first I finished the school year and then my 3 month long holiday started!!! First I had my 2 week Europe Tour, which was amazing I got to spend two weeks with my best friends and travel around Europe, some highlights were; exploring paris on a rainy day and waiting to go up top on the eiffel tower in the rain, touring around Amsterdam on the bikes, going to see the opera in Vienna, Austria, having a spa treatment in Budapest. It really was amazing and I will truely never forget. Least favourite part of it all though was the end when I had to say goodbye to some of the most beautiful, kind and fun people, who will forever be some of my best friends. The next two weeks I had my trekking camp. It was hard believe me because of two reasons; I had just said goodbye to all my friends literally the day before, but also I had to push myself on this camp and I enjoyed that. We did a lot of hiking and saw some of the most amazing views, that I'm glad I got to experience. We also did a few days of touring, we went on a boat tour around Lake Como, a tour of Milan. We were even lucky to have the opportunity to go to the Monza Eni Circuit, where if you didn't know is where Formula 1 takes place, and we got to go in the cars and race around the track (we were in the passenger seat of course), I was lucky enough to go in a McLaren and a Ferrari. Also this weekend just gone my uncle and his son and his fiancé came to visit me. This was great it was really nice to see them, we spent a day in Como one day and then the next two in Milan. It was nicety show them where I have been living for the past year, and show them some of the Italian culture. This is all that has really been happening in the past 4 weeks I'm sorry if it's late as you can tell i've been pretty busy, but I hope you enjoy reading and i'll promise my next report will be on time.
