4 Kenya DAY 1 - AUGUST 10 AUG 10-22, 2019 Welcome to Kenya! Arrive at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport and meet ECOLIFE Executive Director Bill Toone, his wife Sunni, and the team from DK Grand Safaris. Spend the evening enjoying views from the Ole Sereni Hotel. Stay at Ole Sereni Hotel DAY 2 - AUGUST 11 Flight to Amboseli National Park Set at the base of Africa s highest mountain, Amboseli is renowned for being the best place in the world for up close encounters with free-ranging elephants, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, zebras, and more. Venture into the park for your first afternoon of game viewing, and return to camp to dine in front of the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Stay at Tortilis Tented Camp DAY 3 - AUGUST 12 Continue to explore the vast ecological tapestry of Amboseli. The wide diversity of wildlife is thanks to an underground water supply that trickles down miles of volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro s ice cap. 5 DAY 4 - AUGUST 13 Spend your last day at Amboseli caravaning through the park, immersing yourself in its tranquil beauty and seeking out more of the breathtaking encounters the park is known for. Stay at Tortilis Tented Camp DAY 5 - AUGUST 14 Flight to Samburu The Samburu Game Reserve is famous for being home to rare species known as the Samburu Five: the gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe, the Somali ostrich, the Grevy's zebra, and the Beisa oryx. Once a hotspot for big game hunters, this reserve is now a favorite of wildlife photographers. Spend the afternoon game viewing. Stay at Larsen s Tented Camp DAY 6 - AUGUST 15 Enjoy a full day of caravanning out on the wild expanses of the Samburu Game Reserve, and make sure you leave with photographs of all five of the Samburu Five. Stay at Larsen s Tented Camp DAY 7 - AUGUST 16 Spend the morning on the reserve before visiting West Gate Primary School, where ECOLIFE has worked for over a decade to help create a healthy and safe environment for the students. 6 DAY 8 - AUGUST 17 Depart to Mount Kenya Safari Club Located near the slopes of Africa s second highest mountain, Mount Kenya Safari Club is one of the country s most illustrious resorts. Spend the afternoon dining and exploring the resort s extensive amenities and its unique blend of style, history, relaxation, adventure. Stay at Mount Kenya Safari Club DAY 9 - AUGUST 18 Take a day of leisure at the club. Spend the day horseback riding, playing golf on the equator, getting a massage, mountain biking, or visiting the Mt. Kenya Animal Orphanage where orphaned, injured, and abused wildlife are given professional care and a second chance at life in the wild. Stay at Mount Kenya Safari Club DAY 10 - AUGUST 19 Flight to Masai Mara The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the great wonders of the world, famed for the spectacular migrational packs of of wildebeests, zebra, and topi that thunder though it every year. Spend the afternoon relaxing and game viewing in the Mara North Conservancy, a private wilderness area of more than 74,000 acres. Stay at Mara Ngenche Camp

7 DAY 11 - AUGUST 20 Spend the morning and afternoon game viewing in beautiful wilderness, with an optional balloon ride over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve, the African Savannah, the Mara River, swamps, and forest. Land for champagne dining in the bush. Stay at Mara Ngenche Camp DAY 12 - AUGUST 21 Choose between a day of game viewing, relaxing in luxury at the camp, or, if you re feeling adventurous, we will arrange a guided walking safari. Stay at Mara Ngenche Camp DAY 13 - AUGUST 22 Flight to Nairobi Spend your last morning in Kenya game viewing en route to the airstrip. Dine in the city and toast farewell to your travel companions over dinner before departing for home or Uganda. 8 jambo AUG 23-26, 2019 DAY 1 - AUGUST 23 Morning flight to Kihihi Arrive at Bwindi National Park. Prepare for the next day s trek, or take part in the activities the park offers. Stay at Engagi Lodge DAY 2 - AUGUST 24 Rise early for breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a guided forest walk in search of gorillas. You will be one of the exclusive few who get to personally observe the critically endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Once amongst the gorillas, stay an hour to take pictures and experience one of the greatest wildlife experiences on earth. Return to the camp or tour the local market. Stay at Engagi Lodge DAY 3 - AUGUST 25 Spend the day meeting our stove-building team and the Batwa and Bakiga families for whom ECOLIFE builds lifesaving, forest-saving stoves. Return to the lodge for an afternoon at leisure or visit the local Bwindi Community Hospital. Stay at Engagi Lodge DAY 4 - AUGUST 26 Flight to Nairobi Arrive at The Ole Sereni Hotel where a dayroom has been reserved for you. Come together for a farewell dinner, then depart to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your flight home.
