ACCOMMODATION AND AMENITIES CONDITIONS OF VISIT / HUNTING Please peruse the information provided on the website to avail yourself of the full details of what the Bush Camp and other accommodation options (Holiday Home, Hideout) offer and what the booking requirements are. 1.1 Check-in time 13h00 Check-out time 11h00 on day of departure 1.2 The Bush Camp will only be ready from 13h00 on the day of arrival. Please adhere to these times. An additional fee (R170 per person) will be charged in the event of earlier arrival and/or later departure. 1.3 Guests are requested to phone Deon +27(82) one hour prior to arrival to arrange for reception. 1.4 Visitors provide their own food and drinks. 1.5 Domestic services: twice daily 1.6 Visitors need to bring own towels and extra blankets for the cold winter nights. 1.7 No smoking will be allowed in the tents and bathrooms. 1.8 Wood for fire: Sufficient wood will be provided. No wood may be collected from the veld by any visitor. Additional wood can be supplied and will be charged. 2. TARIFFS, HUNTING FEES AND BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Tariffs - A minimum tariff of R3 840 per booking in the Bush Camp will apply for hunters during the hunting season. 2.2 A booking will be allowed for a minimum of two nights. 2.3 Hunting fees - (when staying in Bush Camp) Hunter R480 per night (includes a guide, slaughtering fee, etc.) Non-hunter R300 per night 2.4 Booking requirements Every booking done by a hunting party will be managed and arranged by one contact person, hereinafter referred to as the HEAD HUNTER All correspondence will be done with the HEAD HUNTER. He needs to secure the booking with an EFT payment When the HEAD HUNTER confirms the booking, the total number of guests must be confirmed as well. Bookings will be secured with a non-refundable payment of the full accommodation The party must consist of a minimum of four hunters, each with the intention to hunt. Although a total of eight guests can be accommodated, a maximum of six hunters per party can be managed comfortably A hunter s tariff per day will be charged to the intended hunter, whether he goes out to hunt or not Any person going into the veld carrying a rifle, will be regarded as a hunter and will be charged accordingly even when accompanying a friend / child After the booking arrangements of a group were done by the HEAD HUNTER, the subsequent costs during the visit will be booked to the individual guest / hunter per invoice.

3 2.4.8 All other costs are payable preferably by EFT. No cheques will be accepted, and unfortunately no credit card facility. Internet access will be made available The visitor accepts responsibility for any damages through his/her actions either malicious or unintentional to any property of Maraheki and agrees to settle the invoice rendered for such damages. 3. HUNTING RULES 3.1 On arrival hunters must shoot their rifles in at the designated area under supervision of management. 3.2 No hunting before 06h30 and after 17h00. No hunting on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement with management and only by exception. 3.3 Hunters may not shoot at antelope bigger than impala with ammunition smaller than 168 grain. 3.4 Hunting with calibre smaller than.243 will not be allowed. 3.5 No full-metal ammunition, ammunition lighter than 100 grain or ammunition with other than standard lead projectiles may be used for hunting. No unethical hunting or hunting contrary to the Department of Nature Conservation regulations will be tolerated. 3.6 In an attempt to ensure accurate and successful hunting, the following measures will be taken: A fee of R300 will be charged for a miss shot Any game wounded will be deemed hunted and the full value of it will be payable. Any blood, bones, hide, meat or hair found will be seen as proof that an animal was indeed hit Wounded animals must be traced as soon as possible. This is the responsibility of the hunter, who will be aided by the guides. Management has the right to at any time withdraw guides and/or stop hunting activities until such time that a wounded animal has been found Only game specified in the list below may be hunted. No shots may be fired at any other animal or bird. In the event of an unauthorised animal being shot, penalties will be payable An additional fee of R300 will be charged for a trip up the mountain, except in the event of a successful hunting expedition. This can take place when conditions permit and by management discretion. 3.7 Guides Guides may not perform any personal chores and/or services. They will only assist with the tracking and slaughtering of game. Hunting and processing of meat are the hunter s own responsibility Guides will not be held responsible for wrong choices with the shooting of any animal and other hunting mistakes ; the onus rests solely on the hunter Hunters are requested not to tip the guides or domestic cleaners directly, but to allow management to facilitate all gratuities. Generous gratuities are always welcome and much appreciated.

4 4. SAFETY 4.1 Firearms and ammunition must at all times be safe and declared safe before commencement of hunt and at the end of hunt on the specific day. 4.2 No ammunition round may be in the chamber of any firearm. Firearms may only be loaded when taking aim at an animal to kill. 4.3 All firearms will be locked in a safe when not in use. 4.4 No alcohol is allowed during hunting and no persons under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to handle a firearm or vehicle. 5. GAME SPECIES 5.1 The following species are found on the farm, but not all the species are always available for hunting. Impala Kudu Warthog Red Hartebeest Blesbuck Blue Wildebeest Mountain reedbuck Waterbuck Bushbuck Bushpig Zebra Baboon Species usually not available for hunting Common Duiker Klipspringer Steenbok 5.2 The owner/ manager holds the right to at any stage during the hunting season, withdraw any specie on the list of available species to hunt, without prior notice to hunters. This will be done only in exceptional circumstances. This will usually not be applicable to the popular and common species such as kudu, impala and warthog. 5.3 Game prices will be made available on request. Please enquire by GENERAL 6.1 No vehicle or person will be allowed outside the Bush Camp area except with permission from management. 6.2 Please do not litter in the veld. 6.3 No animals / pets are allowed on the farm. 7. INDEMNITY 7.1 The property is entered and activities undertaken at own risk. The owner, manager and/or employees accept no responsibility for any injuries, mistakes, accidents, damage and/or death of any visitor or their possessions. Visitors comply with all the rules and conditions set out as well as the indemnity.

5 7.2 The owner, manager and/or employee accept no responsibility for any hunting expedition, transport and vehicles, guides and accommodation that the visitor might not find satisfactory, whether partially or entirely. 7.3 All visitors must complete and sign the indemnity form upon arrival on the farm, BEFORE any hunting can be done. Minors parents must sign the form on their behalf. 7.4 All hunters/visitors confirm that they are aware of the rules and conditions stated in this document, understand and accept them. No amendments will be valid except if confirmed in writing by the owner. Visitors / groups who do not abide by these rules and conditions or who cause any trouble, or might be a nuisance or bring a safety threat to himself or any other person on the farm, will be asked to leave the farm immediately, irrespective of any payments already made to the owner.
