1 HARYANA RIFLE ASSOCIATION Admin Office: 367, Kohat Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi HARYANA STATE SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION 2016 AT Dr. KARNI SINGH SHOOTING RANGE, NEW DELHI FROM 28 th 30 th JULY 2016 HRA/CIR1/16 July 12, 2016 All Shooters from Haryana All District Rifle Associationss of Haryana All Governing Body Members of HRA Sub: STAGING OF HARYANA SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 FOR THE SHOOTERS OF HARYANA IN SMALL BORE RIFLE AND PISTOL & SHOTGUN EVENTS (NATIONAL RULES) AT Dr. KARNI SINGH SHOOTING RANGES, NEW DELHI FROM 28 th to 30 th JULY 2016 Dear Sir/Madam, In accordance with the decision of the Governing Body of the Haryana Rifle Association, Haryana Shooting Competition for the shooters belonging to Haryana in Small Bore Rifle/ Pistol & Shotgun events (National Rule) will be held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges (DKSSR), New Delhi from 28 th to 30 th July 2016 as per detailed program attached at Appendix A. This championship is open only to the shooters of HARYANA. All Shooters of Haryana are permitted to participate in this Competition and can achieve MQS as per rule 1.4 of NRAI Match (Appendix C ) to participate in forthcoming All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship, North Zone Shooting Championship. Those competitors who want to participate in these competitions are requested to go through the following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions. 1) MATCHES: All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book 2015.The match book is available on website List of Matches is attached herewith for your ready reference at Appendix D.

2 2) ENTRY FORM/ FEE: a. Entry Form is given at Appendix B. This Entry Form should be filled by the shooter individually and should be sent to this Office so as to reach this office on or before 25 th July Junior/Youth category shooters must attach their date of birth certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/MP/MLA and latest color photograph. Entry forms of Juniors/Youth shooters received without proper proof of date of birth are liable for rejection. The Entry Fee should be remitted by Cash/ Money Order or by Bank Draft in favor of HARYANA RIFLE ASSOCIATION. Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted. Late entries, if any, will be accepted with a three times of the normal fee up to 27 th July b. The competitors cards duly completed will be delivered at HRAs camp office at DKSSR. c. Those who are below 21 years and 18 years of age as on 31 st December 2016 will be considered under the category of Junior (1996 onwards) and YOUTH (1999 onwards) respectively for the Championship. d. Shooters who are in possession of NRAI Shooter ID must mention the same in the entry form and need not attach their Date of Birth Certificates. e. SHOOTERS WHO DO NOT HAVE SHOOTERS ID NUMBER MUST FILL THEIR DATE OF BIRTH IN THE ENTRY FORM AND ATTACH CERTIFIED COPY OF THEIR DATE OF BIRTH AND LATEST COLOR PHOTOGRAPH. 3) PARTICIPATION Participation is open only to competitors belonging to State of Haryana only. Shooters belonging to other states are not allowed to participate in this championship. 4) PRIZES a) First three individual aggregate winners will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals respectively. b) Medals will not be awarded to those, whose score is less than the qualifying marks as prescribed under rule 1.4 of NRAI Match Book 2015 irrespective of their individual position. The grading of those securing above the qualifying marks will be done as usual. c) The Individual prizes will be awarded as under: 3 prizes when there is a minimum of 4 shooters completed full course. 2 prizes when there is a minimum of 3 shooters completed full course.

3 d) 1 prize when there is a minimum of 2 shooters completed full course. e) No prize will be awarded in case of a single entry but organizers may award memento to the shooter. f) Junior and Youth shooters are exempted from this clause subject to achieving the minimum qualifying scores during this Championship. 5) ARMS/AMMUNITION a) No arm will be provided by the Organizer. b) Ammunition will be provided through NRAI.(Only Valid Arm License.) 6) A penalty of Rs. 200/ will be charged if a shooter loses his/her competitor card during the competition and fresh card will only be issued on deposit of penalty. 7) ELIGIBILITY OF JUNIORS & YOUTH a) Juniors can take part in.22 Rifle/Pistol events under the supervision of Team Manager. b) Youth Category shooters can take part in all three age categories (seniors/juniors/youth). Juniors can only participate in junior and senior category only. Shooters above the age of 21 years are not allowed to participate in juniors or youth categories. 8) IMPORTANT Only three shooters will be allowed to use common weapon. The names of shooters likely to use common weapon should be intimated together with the weapon number to the Organizing Secretary in advance to enable to work out the details for the conduct of the relevant matches. 9) COORIDNATOR The HRA will appoint coordinator for allocations of Lanes/Details/Squad. Shooters should approach the coordinator for their Details/Lanes/Squad. Name of the Coordinator would be notified shortly. 10) ACCOMMODATION Shooters are requested to make their own arrangements for their stay. 11) GENERAL: a) All participants are requested to go through the above instructions carefully and ensure strict compliance.

4 b) All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations for the competition. Discipline on and off the field is very essential. c) In case of nonparticipation by the competitors after submission of their entries will not be allowed any refund of the Entry Fee. d) Shooting practice in hotels is strictly prohibited. e) The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any emergency or otherwise without assigning any reason for such an action on their part. f) The Shooters may contact the undersigned for any further information/details thatmay be required by them and might have not been covered by the above instructions.
