1 Day 1 12th Feb 2015 Arrive by road to Olepangi Farm, driving through the beautiful Kikuyu Highlands, arriving in time for a hearty lunch. This is a drive of approximately 4 hours. Spend the afternoon as you like, perhaps a visit to see our donkeys, a game of croquet or relax with a book in a quite spot by the Ngishishi River. Enjoy an afternoon ride on one of our safari horses and enjoy the local scenery. Or just relax ready for sundowners followed by dinner down in our Party House. With luck we ll have a magnificent night of glorious stars and whoops from the local hyenas. There are also great dirt roads running through community land for anyone who wants a last minute bike ride! Day 2 13th Feb 2015 Early this morning, after a nutritious breakfast, we will take you the start line for the first race day. We will be manning a water station ready to cheer you all on. After the race we will take you back to Olepangi Farm for a relaxing evening by our roaring fire. A massage can be arranged by prior arrangement for any sore muscles.

2 Day 3 14th Feb 2015 This morning we will take you to the start line for day 2. The GoWild Africa team will be waiting at the finish line with a celebratory drink before bringing you back to the lodge. Day 4 15th Feb 2015 Early risers can watch the sun rise over the mountain. After breakfast on our breakfast deck we will set off to the Lolldaiga Hills Ranch. It is possible to ride in or alternatively go by 4x4 depending on what you would prefer. We can also take your mountain bikes in to explore this beautiful ranch by bike. Stewart our resident guide happens to be a bike enthusiast! Lolldaiga Hills is a 49,000 acre cattle ranch and wildlife conservancy. Located 20 km North West of Mount Kenya at an altitude of between 1,800 2,300 m, the Ranch has outstanding and uninterrupted views of Mount Kenya and the Aberdares. The Lolldaiga range is an ancient land form, comprising of a series of magnificent high folding hills, cedar forests, open grassland and wooded valleys. A well-documented series of archaeological finds, cave paintings and burial mounds show that the Lolldaigas has been a treasured home since early mankind. Lolldaiga Ranch is often referred to as the most beautiful ranch in all of Kenya. It is a great privilege that we have use of this private ranch for it is a wonder to behold. We ll take our time enjoying the scenery and wildlife along the way. We ll have a good chance of seeing elephant, giraffe, buffalo and, with luck, many other species. We ll arrive at our campsite in Lolldaigas in time for a late lunch and in the afternoon you will have time for a rest followed by sundowners and dinner around the campfire.

3 Day 5 16th Feb 2015 Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee in bed, followed by a light breakfast of toast and muesli. We ll then head off into a different direction enjoying the quiet and tranquility of the Lolldaiga Hills. You have the choice of heading out on horseback, foot, bike or in a vehicle. We will discuss with you each evening what you prefer. The Lolldaiga Hills is home to a vast array of flora and fauna. They have four of the Big Five (no Rhino) as well as Cheetah, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Oryx and Eland among others. The roads pass through and beside diverse habitats hilltops, valleys, dams, open plains and bush; making for a scenic and varied game drive. We will head back to camp for a delicious lunch with the guides and there s always some wine on offer to encourage a little nap before afternoon tea. This afternoon we will head out in the vehicle to the impressive ridge line running through the Lolldaigas. From here you have uninterrupted 360 degree views. Sundowners here are spectacular and a real highlight.

4 Day 6 17th October This morning we will wake up at first light and head out into the bush either on horse, bike or in the safari vehicle for a bush breakfast down by the dam. The dam is a prime bird watching site where you often find Giant Kingfishers, Black Storks, and numerous birds of prey. The Lolldaigas team are in the process of compiling a species list so for those of you that are experienced birders, please record and pass on any interesting finds. In the afternoon we can organise walks with our guide and an armed ranger. Walking gives you the chance to see some of the smaller flora and fauna that you may miss on game drives, as well as some incredible views. Please inform the guide of how far you would like to walk and the level of difficulty. We have some very steep hills and are at a high altitude. Day 7-18th Feb 2015 After a morning game drive or ride we will come back to the Lolldaiga Farmhouse for a hearty breakfast before game driving or riding back to Olepangi Farm. In the afternoon you may choose just to relax or we can arrange a trip to the local school. If you want to stock up on any last minute presents we can take you to Nanyuki to some of our favorite curio shops. The evening will be spent sharing stories over a cocktail or two.

5 Day 8 19th Feb 2015 Our driver will take you back to Nairobi in good time for your onward connection. If this is later in the afternoon you are welcome to stay for an extra lunch (payable direct).
