NASP Genesis compound bow (target colors or camouflage). 2. Full-length, size 1820 aluminum arrows provided by each person must be marked to prevent confusion. 3. Equipment (Bow and Arrows) will be supplied for those who don t have their own. 4. Only plastic vanes are permitted 5. No sights, tape, marks, or other modifications to the bow that may, in the opinion of the judges be used as a sighting aid. Any marks or tape placed on the riser, above the grip of the bow, must be covered or removed or the bow will be disqualified. If such a bow is used during the tournament, the archer will be disqualified. If a bow must be numbered or otherwise identified by the school or shooter with tape, such markings should be on the bow limbs or below the bow s grip. 6. Finger tabs, gloves, and armguards may be used. 7. The use of mechanical release aides or stabilizers will not be allowed. 8. Sims vibration dampening devices may be attached to the limbs of the bow but not on the riser. 9 COMPETITION FORMAT: TARGET: 75 arrows total, 25 each at yards, at a 48 FITA face; Peewee at yards; Cub at yards; Youth at yards; Young Adults at yards; Physically Challenged and Traditional Recurve Adults shoot at yards. Four-minute time limit for each five arrows unless stated differently on site. NFAA Rules used as guidelines only. Shooters choice of a Two Day Event and/or One Day Event (Sunday Only). For shooters entering both Target Events Sunday s score will count for both events. TEAM EVENT: Four-person team event will be held in Target Two Day competition only. Handicapped on Saturday s score. Registration and fee ($20 per team) collected on site. Shooters must be registered individually in order to compete on a team. Each shooter is allowed to be on only two teams. 3D: One arrow per animal with a two-minute time limit per arrow. IBO rules will be used. (Eleven s Scored) NASP: 60 arrows total, 30 each at 10 meters & 15 meters at 80 cm fita face. Awards for NASP approximately one hour after shooting is complete. REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES: REGISTER BY JUNE 18 AND SAVE! If registered by Monday, June 18, the Archery entry fee is $30 per person for the first event ($20 for NASP events only) and $15 per person for each additional event. Between June 19 and July 2, the fee is $35 per person for first event ($25 for NASP events only) and $15 per person for each additional event. FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, July 2. Some sports accept entries after July 2 with an additional fee. If not specifically stated in the sport information, please contact the NSC office at to see if your sport accepts late entries. NOTE: There will be absolutely NO on-site registration. Entry fee includes an athlete shirt, passes to SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies and a copy of the NSC Yearbook. Yearbooks will not be shipped, but will be available at the Opening Ceremonies on July 20 and at the Nebraska Sports Council office during normal packet pickup dates/times. EQUIPMENT DEFINITIONS FOR TARGET COMPETITION: Target Barebow: No sight, long stabilizer, person may string walk for sighting. Freestyle Limited: Target equipment and fingers. Freestyle: Target equipment and release aid. Bowhunter Barebow: No sights, 12 stabilizer, index finger must always touch neck of arrow. Bowhunter Freestyle Limited: All sights (including fiber optics) with a maximum five horizontal reference points but no magnification, 12 stabilizer, peep sight and/or kisser button, fingers. Bowhunter Freestyle: Same as Bowhunter Freestyle Limited but with a release aid. Olympic Freestyle Limited: Target recurves, sight, fingers, and long stabilizer. Traditional Barebow: Recurve or long bow, no sight, no stabilizer, fingers. The use of binoculars is allowed in all classes but no spotting scopes on the shooting line. EQUIPMENT GENERAL DEFINITIONS FOR 3D COMPETITION: Hunter and Bowhunter Classes: IBO rules used as a general guideline but variations to classes exist. No range-finding devices or scopes and maximum 12 stabilizer. All equipment is subject to being checked. Open Division: Target equipment or scopes may be used, except no range-finding devices. All equipment subject to being checked.

10 The use of binoculars is allowed in all classes. AWARDS: Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each competitive division. No medals will be awarded in the non-competitive divisions. Awards ceremony for all archery events will be held at location of the shoot at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday after the shoot for Target and 3-D competitions, and at 3 p.m. Saturday July 28 th for the NASP competition. STATE GAMES OF AMERICA: All Archery medal winners from the Cornhusker State Games are automatically qualified for the 2013 State Games of America in Hershey-Harrisburg, PA. More information on the State Games of America can be found at StateGames2013.com. CHOOSE PACKET SHIPPING: Packet shipping ($7 Individual, $14 Team/Doubles) allows you to receive your shirt(s), Opening Ceremonies pass(es) and sponsor gifts more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies. Choosing this option means saving time and avoiding hassles like waiting in line or running across town between games.
