3 From The State Madam President Dear Sisters & Broers: We are back from e International Convention. It was truly an honor to represent e State of Florida Auxiliary and carry e State of Florida flag at e opening ceremony. Congratulations to our very own Grand Madam Trustee Sherry Gingras! I can't describe e pride in my heart to be your State Auxiliary President and a member of e Fraternal Order of Eagles. We witnessed a veteran who has been in a wheelchair for 40 years, wi lower limb paralysis, walk wi e aid of a computerized brace system and crutches. We are making is possible wi our grants. Florida was in e top 3 for charity contributions. I have so much to share I can t wait to get on e trail and start bragging. Now for e sad news, We have lost 2 Aeries and Auxiliaries, Largo 4013 and Holly Hill 4033, bo have been closed out by e Grand. I wish I had e solution to avoid is from happening again, but it will. My suggestion is to attend all e schools, conferences and conventions to educate yourself, know e rules and regulations and keep e Ritual teachings in all you do. A quote from Dalai Lama: Our prime purpose in is life is to help oers, and if you can't help em, at least don't hurt em Rich and I will start our Florida travels, on e trail, beginning July 25 at Ocala 3656 st to celebrate eir 40 Anniversary, en on August 1 to Port Orange 4089 for an Auxiliary School and en to Green Cove Springs 4505 for eir Anniversary, nd August 15 Cape Coral 3957 for eir 19 Anniversary, August 22 Kissimmee 4048 for eir Anniversary and on August 29 Orange Park 4365 eir 19 Anniversary.
