Please find two animals that look very different from each other and spend some time observing and drawing each animal. Prompting Questions for Teachers or Chaperones: When the child is drawing the Animal, please ask these questions: 1. Does this animal have a long skinny body, a blocky body, a flat body, a round body, or some other shape? Please draw the animal s body. 2. How many legs does the animal have? Are the legs long or short, slender or thick? Draw the legs. 3. Do you think this animal is a fast or slow mover? Why? 4. Look carefully at the head. Does the animal have a beak, sharp teeth, or a large mouth? 5. What do you think this animal eats? Why? Draw what you think it might eat in the picture. 6. Look carefully at and draw the eyes of the animal. Are the eyes large or small? Please draw. 7. Does this animal have fur, scales, or feathers? Please draw.
