Overview and concise instructions Fig. T-wrench T GR SG GR SG If you are skilled in changing inking rollers, the following diagrams show you the order in which sequence the rollers must be removed and installed and how the inking rollers are to be adjusted. You can find detailed instructions in the sections Removing inking rollers and Installing and adjusting inking rollers. Marker rings on the adjusting elements of the ink form rollers and dampening form rollers facilitate the adjustment. The color allocation corresponds to the color of the roller journals and/or the roller locks. Use the T-wrench (Fig. ) included in the press tool set for adjustment. 6 6mm Removing Tthe inking rollers Tip Mount a printing plate prior to removing and fitting the inking rollers to prevent damage on the plate cylinder. Note The rollers of the dampening system must have been removed. All parts are removed in the same way, following the same 6 installation 9 instructions but in the reverse order!. Open the form roller locks.. Turn the adjusting screws two revolutions to disengage the inking form rollers 3,, and 4 from the ink distributors. 3. Remove the rollers 3, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and Remove the rollers 4,,, 0 and C.4.3

You may exceed this setting mm value by mm. Note The following setting values refer to a press with inking and dampening system rollers at working temperature (directly after completing a print job). If the press is cold, you should set the rollers to the lower limit of the tolerance range, since the width of the contact area increases when the rollers 4±0.5mm 3.5mm heat up. 7 Inking unit UTKSG _ Preparing the removal of the inking rollers (only presses with AutoPlate Plus) GR LS Secure the press against being started up: Press the Emergency stop button on the nearest control panel. 6/. Hold the AutoPlate Plus plate changer 6/ (Fig. 6/) by one of the two handles (Fig. 6/). This unlocks the plate changer and the plate changer can be moved Push the AutoPlate Plus plate changer upwards. 8 Inking unit GR LS Hold the inking roller guard by one of the two handles (Fig. 8/ 8/) and swing it out of the printing unit. The inking roller guard is secured in a horizontal position. The front handle segment hangs down. 8 Fig. Handle on the inking roller guard GR LS Swing the front handle 9/ segment (Fig. 9/) toward the printing unit, beneath the horizontal inking roller guard. (Fig. 0/), 4 turn the adjusting screws on the journal boxes of the rubber 0/ rollers 3 and, and 4 and two revolutions to the left. As a result, the rollers move away from the ink distributor. Press the yellow rubber 3/ roller 3 (Fig. /) towards the O.S. until the roller drops out of the 8 journal box on D.S Press the yellow rubber roller /4 3 towards D.S. until the roller on O.S. drops out of the journal box (Fig. /4). 9 3/ 9. /3 Using both hands, roll the yellow rubber roller 3 (Fig. /) over the guard (Fig. /3). First insert the rollers into the 6/ recess (clearance) in the side frame on D.S. (Fig. 6/).
