3 General Regulations PARTICIPATION 1. Only those athletes can participate on the European Open & Hanshi Cup who is member of United World Sport Kempo Federation (UWSKF) through a (Legal Entity) officially registered Sports Clubs, Associations or National Federations, Committees. The Legal Entity are fully responsible for entering their athletes within the deadline. 2. The Clubs, Associations, National Federations or Committees can enter unlimited number of athletes per weight category. 3. Each competitor must have valid Insurance Party that can cover the related injury and medical costs if any. An accident that happened during the competition, either he/she or his/her Legal Entity will be entitled to bear the related costs. 4. Each competitor have to fill out and sign the Statement of the competitor form, which is attached on the last page of the Proclamation. 5. Age and nationality will be checked with the passport / ID card at the weigh-in. 6. Each contestant deemed to be taking part of his/her owns free will, responsible for him/her, shall be allowed to compete in only one weight category: the one corresponding to his weight at the time of the official weigh-in. 7. The delegations in need of a visa to enter Hungary must send their visa application forms to valerpapp@gmail.com before 27. August The organizer will take care of sending official invitation letters to the Hungarian consular representation in their country of residence. 8. Preliminary entries and a copy of hotel booking requests must be sent to valerpapp@gmail.com before 31. August The hotel booking have to send directly by each national team representative to the official Host Hotels before 31. The booked rooms have to pay in advance till 15. September The reservation of unpaid rooms will be cancelled. 10. Final entries must be sent in excel format by to Mr. David Dencinger daviddencinger@googl .com; Mr. Balázs Kárászi karokempo001@gmail.com and Mr. Valer Papp valerpapp@gmail.com before 15. November In the excel sheet of final entry do not forget to mention your flight details and shuttle bus request. 11. Will be required to pay entry fee of 60 EUR per competitor, to organizer, payable cash at accreditation. Without any extra charge the competitors can register and start as many divisions as they want and the competition rules let him or her to start. The entry fee includes all start fees of the competition, all seminar fees in the Sport Hall. 12. All registered competitors for the European Open & Hanshi Cup can participate on the Seminars are free of charge. Those who are not registered as a competitor Page 3/12

4 for the European Open & Hanshi Cup but wishing to participate on the seminars heave to pay 10Eur fee per seminar. 13. The delegations request local transfer between the Airport and host hotels (Novotel Budapest Centrum, IBIS Styles Center) and also between the hotel and the Sports Hall during the championship the transfer costs are 50EUR/person, payable in cash at accreditation. The delegations will be welcomed by the organizing Committee upon their arrival in Budapest, Liszt Ferenc International Airport and will be driven to the hotel to proceed with accreditation. 14. Host Hotel I.: Novotel Budapest Centrum Host Hotel II.: IBIS Styles Center (former Mercure Metropol) (Both hotels are belonging to Accor Hotels Group and located in the down town of Budapest in the same street just in apposite to each other.) When you book the rooms, you should refer to Hanshi Cup to get the below detailed special room rates. The competition will take place in the official skill, age and weight categories and no weight allowance will be accepted: a. Skill categories Beginner: Maximal 24 months in martial arts or combat sports. Advanced: Minimal 24 and maximal 48 months in martial arts or combat sports. Expert: Minimal 48 months in martial arts or combat sports. b. Each competitor will be requested to undergo a medical examination before the official weigh-in, during which his/her competition uniforms will be inspected for compliance as well. 6. Competitors who forfeit a match without proper medical certificate will not be allowed to proceed throughout the tournament and will be withdrawn from the final ranking. 7. Each competitor will be required to wear the good quality competition uniform complying with the UWSKF regulations. The UWSKF uniform rules highly preferred but not compulsory. 8. The drawing of lots for position in the brackets will be done automatically by the competition software after the time of weigh-in. The refereeing body will take care that competitors from same country can not be fight to each other in the very first match if it is possible. 9. Individual prizes will be given to each category: 1 st place 1 gold medal, certificate 2 nd place 1 silver medal, certificate 3 rd places 2 bronze medals, certificates The HANSI CUP trophies will get the 3 best team in each day. (1 st day: competition for athletes below 18years old; 2 nd day: competition for athletes above 18year old.) The team points will be calculated according to the results achieved by all athletes that belongs to the same team. Page 6/12

7 REFEREES 1. Only certified referees may work in the competition. 2. All referees must wear black pants, black sport shoes, and official polo shirt. (the polo shirt will be provided by the organizer) 3. All referees must attend the referees course preceding the competition leading by the head referee Mr. Laszlo Kormos 4. The National Federations that wishing to delegate their referees in to the refereeing Body of the event they have to send their application till 31. August to Mr. Balazs Karaszi to and Mr Laszlo Kormos 5. The organizing committee will pay the hotel room for the selected referees in the Host hotel (3 nights from 1 st Dec. to 4 th Dec.) COACHES Only one coach is allowed to the competitors corner. The coaches must wear their team tracksuit when performing their match duties and abide by the International Code of Conduct at all times.
