Modification based on the recommendation of Hungarian Taekwondo Federation: In the age categories Children I and Veterans head kick is forbidden! Age categories and weight divisions: Children: Category I: (7-9 years old) only,,c class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 7 and younger than 10 on the day of competition. Weight divisions: -18,-21,-24,-27,-30,-33,-36,-40,-44,-49,+49 kg Category II: (10-11 years old) only,,c class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 10 and younger than 12 on the day of competition. Weight divisions: -27,-30,-33,-36,-40,-44,-49,-54,-59,+59 kg Cadets: Category III: (12-14 years old) A and B class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 12 and younger than 15 on the day of competition. Weight divisions: Girls: -29,-33,-37,-41,-44,-47,-51,-55,-59,+59 Boys: -33,-37,-41,-45,-49,-53,-57,-61,-65,+65

3 Juniors: Category IV: (15-16 years old) A and B class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 15 and younger than 17 on the day of competition. Weight divisions: Women: -42,-44,-46,-49,-52,-55,-59,-63,-68,+68 kg Men: -45,-48,-51,-55,-59,-63,-68,-73,-78,+78 kg Adults: Category V: (17 35 years old) A and B class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 17 on the day of competition. Weight divisions: Women: -46,-49,-53,-57, -62,-67,-73, +73 kg Men: -54,-58,-63,-68,-74,-80, kg Veterans: Category VI: (35 years old) A and B class It is the suitable age category for competitor, who is older than 35 on the day of competition. The Veterans weight divisions are identical to the Olympic Games weight divisions! In the age category Veterans head kick is forbidden! Weight divisions: Women: -49,-57, -67, +67 kg Men: -58, -68, -80, +80 kg Graduation: Cadets, Juniors, Adults: class A from 4 th kup class B Children I and II: class C from 10 th kup 10 th kup to 5 th kup (There is only,,c class in Children Categories. During the registration - on TPSS.eu - the system is unable to set the class properly. The organisers will check and correct it manually. Veterans: 10 th kup to 1 st kup (If the number of competitors is high enough, the veterans will be divided into class B and class A (from 4 th kup).

4 Conditions of participation: The Hungarian participants have to be the members of the MTKDSZ, and all their fees have to be paid. They also have to present their valid plastic insurance card provided by the MTKDSZ. All competitors must have registered medical exam which is not older than six months (competitors completed their 18 th year of life the medical exam have to be not older than a year). All participants must proof their kup/dan grade by presenting own TKD ID. Competitors not completed their 18 th year of life on the day of the tournament have to present a Declaration of Consent signed by a legal guardian. All these documents must be presented at the weigh in process! Registering: Via TPSS.eu! It is the coach s liability to provide correct data at the registration. WARNING! On TPSS.eu you need an account, then you have to request for authorization for this tournament. After it you will have the possibility to register competitors. Deadline: 28/05/2018 Monday Entry fee: 25 EUR per athlete If a competitor does not meet requirements for his division, he or she can switch to another for a fee of 5 EUR. There is a possibility to register competitors at the weigh in on Friday, the fee of this late registration is 30 EUR. Merging: If the number of competitors is too low in a weigh division the organisers reserve the right to merge them together. On the week of the tournament, the organisers will inform all the coaches on the valid registrations. Based on this information, the coaches can move their own athlete to another weight division without any additional fee if there is no opponent in the athlete s original weight division. Competitors who do not have an opponent can request cancellation of their registration and reimbursement of the entry fee, which can not be denied by the organisers. 5 Based on the judgment of the Head of referees and the organiser, duration of contest can be subject to change. Protective Equipment: The use of headgear, hogu, arm guards, shin guards, groin guard, mouthpiece, hand gloves is mandatory for every competitor. Protective equipment must be provided by the participants or their club. WARNING! In all age categories and classes DaeDo PSS (GEN 1) will be used on the tournament! The competitors have to be equipped with their own DaeDo (GEN 1) sensor socks. The electronic headgear and electronic hogu will be provided by the organisers. In the age categories Children I and Veterans head kick is forbidden, in these categories the competitors have to be equipped with their own headgears! The OFFICIALLY REGISTERED (on TPSS.eu) coach or assistant (in tracksuit and indoor shoes) can enter the competition area with the athlete. Awarding: Medal for 1 st 3 rd individual places. Trophy for the best 3 teams Special awards: The youngest and the oldest competitor Team with the most competitors Team from the highest distance The best female and male referee The value of the individual places for the team's awarding are the following: the first place is 7 points, the second place is 3 points and the third place is 1 point, but the first place scored without a match will not score. Results in Veterans category will not score for the team s awarding. Protest: Only the official head of the team is allowed to protest at the head of referees, immediately after the contest. A protest fee of 30 EUR will have to be paid.

6 Speed-kicking! Rules: A single elimination will be applied. The 1 st 3 rd places will be awarded with medal. Competitors will kick a DaeDo hogu, so the competitors have to be equipped with their own DaeDo (GEN 1) sensor socks! The validity of the kick is decided by the electrical system and the scoreboard is continuously visible to the competitors. Clothing: dobok and belt, running time 1 x 30 sec. Between two consecutive kicks, the executing foot must touch the ground. There will be a referee who checks both the competitor and the system. Age categories for females and males Children 1: years old (not completed their 9 th year of life) Children 2: years old (not completed their 12 th year of life) Cadets: years old (not completed their 15 th year of life) Registering for speed-kicking is possible by sending your application to: tkd.pecsopen@gmail.com (Speed-kicking application form is attached). Warning! Results in speed-kicking will not score for the team s awarding. Entry fee for speed-kicking is 10 EUR per competitor Referees: The organisers encourage foreign referees to participate at the tournament. The organisers provide accommodation for the foreign referees on the day before the tournament (01/06/2018), meals on the day of the tournament and a payment of 40 euros. Saturday morning there is NO possibility to register competitors to another weight division.
