Fencers will be divided by gender (male and female) and by category (A or B). Players will fence in foil, epee and sabre. Each tournament will take place and the players will be awarded by medals only when at least six players from three different countries will take part in the tournament. All equipment must adhere to FIE and IWAS-WFC regulations.

2 DEPARTURES REGISTRATION 1st October we are planning finals at 13:00. The transport form the Hotel to the Warsaw Airport takes at least 1 hour. If you plan to return on 1st October, your flight time should be no earlier than 18:00. Entry forms have to be filled and send to: office@szablakilinskiego.pl before 11 July 2014!!! Registration should be done via OPHARDT System as well: before 11 July 2014!!! 4 INVITATION With a great pleasure we would like to invite you to Poland. In 2014 we are organizing three great events. Good tournaments, qualification points to Rio2016, 1.5x world ranking factor, great time, best fencers from the world you just have to come to Poland! WHY TO COME TO POLAND? World Cup Grand Prix in Poland is the first tournament qualifying athletes to the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 World Cup Grand Prix in Poland has 1.5 points multiplier in the IWAS ranking U-17 and U-23 tournaments are official IWAS World Championships Every year, since 2001, tournaments in Poland are the biggest wheelchair fencing events over the world You will find in Poland good tournaments, the best fencers, delicious food, high quality hotel accomodation and great time! 5 IWAS Wheelchair Fencing GRAND PRIX Szabla Kilińskiego Date: September 2014 It will be 14 th edition of the tournament Szabla Kilińskiego. This is the biggest wheelchair fencing world cup over the world with a long tradition. The World Cup Grand Prix in Poland will be the first tournament qualifying athletes to the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Moreover, Grand Prix in Poland has 1.5 points multiplier in the IWAS ranking, so athletes can get more points by taking part in that tournament. We expect record number of fencers from around the world. You just have to come!

6 IWAS Wheelchair Fencing U-17 and U-23 World Championships U-17 World Championships Date: September 2014 U-23 World Championships Date: 29 September 01 October 2014 Poland will be the host of the first official IWAS World Championships for U-17 and U-23 in Foil and epee tournaments will be organized for U-17 athletes. All participants of the U-17 World Championships will be invited for the Final Gala of the World Cup Grand Prix Szabla Kilinskiego Tournament and they will have chance to watch the duels of the best fencers. Foil, epee and sabre tournaments will be organized for U-23 athletes.
