Note: The deleted scores will NEVER be taken into account In any case, the Technical Committee will have the final decision. If for any given reason any Category was to be modified, widened, regrouped or null, it will be announced as soon as possible. When Kata competitors end their categories, they must abandon the competition area. When Kumite Categories are being celebrated, no Kata competitor will be allowed in the competition area. 5 FEUAM KUMITE COMPETITION RULES (BASED ON WUKO & AD) - Only Judges and Referees homologated by FEUAM and WUKO & AD - Referees that have already performed as Main refs in previous Championships will be taken into account to organise Tatamis - Organisations and clubs participating will have to bring at least two referees every 9 competitors or pay an extra fee - Competitors will leave the competition area once they have finished their performance. Not complying this rule can lead to disqualification of the competitor, then the Coach and eventually the whole team - Coaches must possess a regulatory Title and must attend the Referee and Coach Meeting. They must respect the Dress Code (Sports Clothing). No street clothing will be allowed in the competition area. - All fees must be paid before the Championship starts. No exceptions. In Children categories up to 15 years old, Referees and Coaches must take into consideration: - NOT ALLOWED Jodan contact neither with arm nor kick - Techniques 5 cm away from the face with good Form, Hikite and Zanshin will be valid and awarded - Beware children who cry or protest due to frustration, lack of training or phisical condition. - In kicks, a very light contact (NEVER IMPACT) is allowed from 16 years old categories and older - Sweeping techniques followed by another scoring technique, are considered Ippon - Anticipation is considered Ippon - Two consecutive techniques each of which cound be considered Waza-ari separatedly, will be awarded as Ippon (Wazaari-a-wazate Ippon) - Jodan Kick controlled techniques without unbalance and zanshin will be awared as Ippon - Referees must consider first the action of the technique and then its results - When a competitor scores from inside the tatami and the other competitor exits the area, the point must be awared and not the Jogai. - If a competitor exits the area, the referee stops the fight and the other competitor then scores, the Jogai is given but the scoring technique is not awarded. - Jodan kicks with a good techcnical execution, good distance, control and timing will be awarded even with a very light unbalance. But NEVER if the performing competitor ends up cmpletely unbalanced or even falls. - When a competitor is called to fight and doesn t show up, 1 minute will be waited. After this time the other competitor will be awarded with 1 Ippon. 30 second laterm another Ippon. 30 second later KIKEN. - Competitors must be ready with all protection gear on, ready to compete. No excuses. 5

Also, over 12 years old: Groin compulsory - Male Senior: Fists, Groin, Mouth, Shin including foot - Female Senior: Fists, Chest, Groin, Mouth, Shin including foot - All categories under 18 years old, on top of all mentioned before, compulsory Chest and Shin including foot. - Over 16 years old, Helmet optional (each competitor must bring his/hers) - Safety glasses mut wear a safety band. No other glasses will be allowed. - No other object will be allowed metal, rope or similar (rings, wrist or neck jewelery, metal hair fixings, piercings, clips, hooks ) Note: Any claims or protests must be made by the Coach at the fight moment with a 50 EUR deposit in the Official Table. The Refereee commission will review it. If the claim is successful the deposit fee will be returned to the Coach. Otherwise no refund will be done. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY CLAIM BE ADMITTED UNDER AN AUDIO OR VIDEO RECORDING OF ANY KIND AT ALL. IMPORTANT: Referees who refeferee their students or students who let their teacher referee them can be disqualified from the Championship. - Coaches must be in possession of Title and attend the Coach and Referee meeting before the competition starts. Also they ust have paid the fees of the team. - Please note the ages and weights of all categories. Competitors must be of every age the day of the competition. No exceptions made - Weighting will be made in the morning. No difference of weight will be allowed. - Each competitor will bring their own gear including a red (Aka) belt and blue (Shiro) belt for competition. - All Referees and Competitors will follow their official dress code as per the Referee rules. The Awards Ceremony will be performed in Karate-gi - In the Sports Hall only Sports shoes o soft rubber base shoes are allowed. - No metal or glass containers are allowed in the competition area - Always follow the Organization Staff indications. Make good use of bins and facilities and keep the Sports Hall clean in all areas at all times 6

7 PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: 2015 License in an affiliated or co-affiliated club or Association. Each competitor will be responsible of being suitable for the combat and of bringing their license to the championship; Grade card signed, I.D., and parental or other legal tutoring authorization for those under 18 years old. REGISTRATION: All delegations and clubs will fill in and send the competitors and referee list updated compulsorily on the enclosed form, without avoiding any data. This must be received in FEUAM before November 25th. Any registration made after that date will have an extra-charge of 3 /competitor. The draw will be done on 01/12/2016 from 10:00 am in the FEUAM Headquarters. Any incomplete Registration or incorrectly filled in Form will have an extra-charge of 3 /competitor, or will be prevented from entering in the draw. The fact of making the Registration means the total acceptance of all the rules of the Competition. Registration not made on the official form and not signed by the responsible person of the group will not be accepted. Each group will have to include at least two referees every 9 competitors and the fees have to be paid to the Federation. For the coach it is mandatory to attend the Referee s meeting.
