2 Dear Grand Masters, Masters and Instructors Markham Taekwondo Academy (MTA) is proud to host the 14th All Community Game (ACG) in Markham. The All Community Game is held every summer, it began as the Asian Community Game in 2005 and was officially changed to the All Community Game in It is with great pleasure that we invite you to 14th ACG hosted by Markham Taekwondo Academy at Bill Crothers Secondary School in Markham, Ontario on June 16, We hope all Coaches and Masters will adhere to our guidelines laid out in this package, in order to ensure a successful tournament for both you and your students. This event is a fully sanctioned by Taekwondo Ontario (T.O) and as such Taekwondo Ontario competition rules will be in effect for all divisions. Please note, there are no High Performance Black Belt Divisions. All competitors must be current 2018 members of Taekwondo Ontario. Please do not include T.O registrations with your tournament registrations. They must be mailed or registered online at T.O.. Those not registered will be required to do so before competing. Check-in, spectator passes and accreditation pick up will be available on Friday June 15th at Markham Taekwondo Academy Unionville location from 1-8pm and on site on June 16, Please check in on Friday if at all possible to avoid long lines on Saturday morning. This is a PRE-REGISTERED tournament. Coaches will be required to pre-register their teams either by mail or online. Registration cost: $70 (2 events) for Both Color Belt division and Black Belt Division in sparring and/or patterns. 6 COMPETITION RULES Colour Belt: Poomsae (Pattern): Participants may only perform mandatory Kukkiwon approved patterns Combination movements and ITF patterns are NOT allowed Maximum of 4 participants per division (single elimination) Kyorugi (Sparring): Each Match will be 2 rounds of 1 minute, with 30sec break (All ages) No head contact for all divisions The Tournament Host reserves the right to separate or combine divisions at their discretion based on age and weight or other discretionary factors. Black Belt Recreational: Poomsae (Pattern): Participants may only perform mandatory Kukkiwon approved patterns Combination movements and ITF patterns are NOT allowed Maximum of 6 participants per division (single elimination) Kyorugi (Sparring): Matches will consist of 2 rounds of 1.5 minutes, with 30 seconds break NO head contact for all divisions. 10 Coach Registration Form 1 free coaching pass will be provided for every 5 registered competitors in the Markham Taekwondo Academy 14th All Community Game. Additional coaching passes can be purchased at $10.00 CAD each with a maximum of 5 coaching passes per registered Taekwondo school.
