1 SDTS Certification Grade Exam 7: Weapons Offensive Tactics (SDTS Module Combatives Module 9, 11) Fight with the weapon All weapons are designed to work with your hand to hand training Grip strength and endurance is extremely important Section 1: Tactical Knife (Identify on target on training dummy or parent) Target Areas: Attack the most vulnerable, soft and blood rich areas as quickly as possible to cause shock and rapid blood loss. Eyes, Throat, Stomach (liver and spleen), Inside Arm (brachial artery), Groin, Genitals, Inside Thighs (femoral arteries) Section 1: Cuts (3 times each left and right side on dummy, heavy bag or Hammer Grip Thrust Cross Slash (forward and back Downward Cross Slash (forward and back) Upward Cross Slash Two-Handed Thrust Two-Handed Slash Ice Pick Grip Overhand Spike Cross Slash and Spike Front Thrust Rear Thrust Section 2: Combinations (3 times each on dummy, heavy bag or Keep Weapon in rear hand EXCEPT when knife to knife Have blade point slightly up Single or double blade?
