Kicking techniques will be rated higher than hand techniques. Jumping and/or spinning techniques will be rated higher than standing techniques. Multiple boards will be rated higher than single boards. Non-spaced boards will be rated higher than spaced boards. Boards may be purchased at the tournament. 12 x12 x1 $3:00 each, 6 X12 X1 $2:00 each. FORMS Forms will be limited to WTF accepted forms. And will be judged on degree of difficulty, power, accuracy of strikes, balance, and focus. Competitors must do the form associated with their rank.

6 Qualification for the 22 nd US Jr. National Taekwondo Championship Competitors must perform the USTU/ WTF Forms appropriate for their rank. Age Eligibility: competitors should compete in the age division that is the same as their current age at the time of the State Championship. For example, a child who is 13 years of age at the time of the State Championship would compete in the year old division. Should that child turn 14 years old before June 30, 2002 that child would then be eligible to compete in the year old age division at the Junion Olympics. Age division is based on the child s age at the time of participation in that competition; State championship age may be different from Junior Olympic Age Division.
