1 Regulations 26 th Dutch Open SAMBO, COMBAT-SAMBO, HAND-to-HAND FIGHTING and KARATE (semi-contact) March 2017 Dalfsen (the Netherlands) 1. Generalities 1.1 The 26 th Dutch Open Sambo (M&F), Combat-Sambo (M), Hand-to-Hand Fighting (M&F) and Karate (M&F) are held in accordance with Federation Amateur Internationale de SAMBO (FIAS) International Sambo competitions managing provisions and International Sambo competitions rules and International Budo Federation Karate (IBF) Competition Regulations and Hand-to-Hand Fighting International Rules of Competitions. 1.2 The 26 th Dutch Open Sambo (M&F), Combat-Sambo (M), Hand-to-Hand Fighting (M&F) and Karate (M&F) in 2017 are held to popularize and develop Sambo, Combat-Sambo, Hand-to-Hand Fighting and Karate in the Netherlands and the world, and to consolidate international sports relations. 1.3 The hosting organizer of the 26 th Dutch Open in 2017 is Sportcentrum Emsland and Budo Promotion Ommen under auspices of the Dutch Sambo Federation and IBF-Karate NL. 2. Place and dates 2.1 Event location: Sportshall Trefkoele+, Ruigedoornstraat 108, 7721 BR Dalfsen, The Netherlands. 2.2 Dates: from the 10 th till the 12 th of March Athletes Participation 3.1 For Sambo and Combat-Sambo: All athletes who are member of their National Sambo Federation and are affiliated to FIAS. 3.2 For Hand-to-Hand Fighting and Karate: All athletes whatever Federation/Association they are member of. Proof of membership has to be shown at the weigh-in. 3.3 Athletes who have compulsory health insurance. 4. Applications for participation 4.1 Please enter the delegation members on the registration form. 4.2 Send your registrations before the 11 th of February 2017 to the following We cannot organize a championship without referees and jury-members, so please provide referees for all disciplines but especially for Sambo and Combat-Sambo. 5. Be aware of a good registration! 5.4 Equipment for the disciplines will be according the official rules. 5.5 The Championship organization committee guarantees first aid provision to all athletes. 5.6 Individual contest is held in groups according to the system of: Sambo: Poules or eliminations (depends on number of athletes) Combat-Sambo: Eliminations Karate, H-to-H Fighting: K.O. or poules (depends on number of athletes) 5.7 The athletes who won the prize-winning places shall be awarded with medals or cups 5.8 All athletes will receive a diploma of participation. 6. Financial terms 6.1 Heads of sport delegations have to fulfill all financial obligations to the Championship organization committee: 1. Before the 11 th of February 2017 on IBAN NL90ABNA ; BIC ABNANL2A of Budo Promotions Ommen. 2. On the day of arrival when it is approved by the organization committee. Page 2 of 5

3 6.2 The delegations have to pay the participation fee in the amount of (if registered before 11 th of February 2017): Sambo: Combat-Sambo: Hand-to-Hand Fighting full-contact: Hand-to-Hand Fighting kata: Karate: (weapon-)kata: Teamkata: 37,50 per team (3 persons) Fights: 6.3 In case of late registration (after 11 th of February 2017) and the registration is permitted by the organization committee the participation fee will be raised with 5,00 per competitor per discipline. 6.4 Before the 11 th of February 2017 delegations can change their team quantity. After this date it is only possible to change weight or color of the belt until Thursday the 9 th of March Changing weight category on the day of the competition will cost 5,00 per change. 6.5 Transportation from railway station (station in the city of Zwolle) to hotel, sports hall and back shall be paid separately in the amount of 20,00 per person. 6.6 The entrance fee for spectators will be 5,00 for persons from 13 years and older. Persons till 12 years of age pay 3, Accommodation and catering 7.1 All delegations can reserve accommodation by themselves. The organization committee has special arrangements with Mercure Hotel in the city of Zwolle. Mercure Hotel Zwolle: h2109-sb@accor.com or Triple room: 105,- / double room: 75,00 / single room 69,- (all with breakfast). Please note that there are limited reservations possible! Use reference: Dutch Open Championships Catering can be ordered at the organization committee. Breakfast is in the hotel/hostel. Lunch and dinner is in the sports hall. Lunch will be 9,00 per lunch/person and dinner will be 12,50 per dinner/person. Lunch and dinner has to be ordered in advance together with the registration before 11 th February Accreditation 8.1 Accreditation of foreign delegations will be executed at Sports hall Trefkoele+, Ruigedoornstraat 108, 7721 BR Dalfsen, the Netherlands on Friday 10 th of March 2017 between 19.00h and 20.00h. 8.2 When it is not possible delegations to go to accreditation on Friday the delegations can go to accreditation on Saturday at the sports hall before the start of the competitions. Visa request 9.1 All delegations that need visa will be supported by the organization committee (please consider that the passport shall be valid not less than 3 months after the last date of your visit to the Netherlands). 9.2 The organization committee can only support in visa when there is enough time to obtain the visa. 9.3 The organization committee can only support in visa when all relevant details are known (full name, sex, date of birth, passport no. and function (e.g. athlete, president, etc.). 9.4 For visa request we need the name and address of the Dutch Embassy/Consulate in your country. 10.
