With the main intention of promoting friendship and enhancing goodwill amongst our Karate Association nationally as well as international y, we also wish to take this opportunity to invite you to visit Negeri Sembilan - famous for its hospitality and friendly people. The Championship will be held as the following : Date : 18 th -19 TH June 2011 Time : 8:30am ~ 6:00 pm Venue :Gelanggang Utama, Kompleks Sukan Paroi, Negeri Sembil ( next to Stadium Bolasepak, Paroi) refer to the attached map. 2 TOURNAMENT GENERAL RULES & REGULATION 1. Competition Date 18 th - 19 th June Venue Gelanggang Utama, Kompleks Sukan Negeri, Paroi, Negeri Sembilan (next to Stadium Bolasepak Paroi) 3. Fees Entrance fee is as follows: RM per contestant for One Kumite event & One Kata event RM per team for Team Kumite (3 + 1 reserve) & Team Kata Additional each category RM 10 Payment should be made and attached together with the entry forms duly completed, during registration on Tournament Day. 4. Categories As per attached 5. Lunch Provided for all contestants, referees and officials 6. Rules The Kumite & Kata competitions are using the most curr nt rules of MAKAF & WKF 7. Referees & Judges WKF/AIKF/State / MAKAF qualified referees / judges are invited for the tournament. 8. Equipment Contestants are requested to bring their own fist guards (mitts), belts & gum shield which are compulsory, shin pads, foot proctor and body protectors are optional 9. Healthcare The organizer will provide medical support which consists of medical assistants 10. Event draw Event draw will be held using computerised programme. 11. Accommodation. The Organising Committee will assist in finding accommodation for all the participating teams. The participating team is required to inform the Organising Committee on the number of participants and officials 2 (two) weeks prior to the tournaments date to enable us to proceed with the room bookings. All cost incurred will be borne by the participating team. The official hotel for the tournament will be Royal Adelphi Hotel (formerly known as Seremban Hilton).

3 12 Transport. Participating teams are to arrange for their own transport to and from airport / hotel. Organising Committee will assist in finding transport if requested. All participants are required to gather at the lobby o the hotel at 7.30 am sharp on 18 th and 19 th July 2011, as the bus will be leaving to the tourname t venue at the time from the hotel. 13. Consent Letter. All foreign style chiefs are requested to kindly obtai a letter of concern from their National/State Karate Federation/Association prior to participation. 14. Awards. 1 st prize medal + trophy 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th prize medal only. All participants will be receiving the Certificate of Participation. Overall Champion will be receiving PIALA TAN SRI HJ MOHD ISA BIN DATO HJ ABD SAMAD. 14. Entry closing Date All Entry forms must reach the organizer on or before the 10 th June 2011 Entry forms can be faxed to or to siva.roshlink@gmail.com to enable the organiser to prepare the tags, souvenir book and bout charts. 15.
