1 Dear Masters, Instructors and students, You are cordially invited to the 1st Ontario Taekwondo Hanmadang Open Games, held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Centennial College on 941 Progress Ave, Toronto ON, M1G 3T8. This event is sanctioned by both Ontario Taekwondo Association and Taekwondo Canada. The 1 st Ontario Taekwondo Hanmadang Open Games will consist of poomsae and board breaking events for black belts and colour belts. Pre-registration is required for all competitors. Registration Fee BreakDown: Colorbelts are eligible to compete in the following events. 1) Individual Poomsae, (2) Pair Poomsae, (3) Board Breaking. Color belt - $60 for 2 event and any additional event will be extra 10 dollars. Max 3 Black belts are eligible to compete in the following events. 1) Individual Poomsae (2) Pair Poomsae (3) Team Poomsae and (4) Board Breaking. Black belt- $60 for 2 event and any additional events be extra 10 dollars. 3 Competition Rules Color Belt Divisions Poomse (individual &Pair) Participants may only perform mandatory Kukkiwon approved Taegeuk patterns Combination movements and ITF patterns are NOT allowed Maximum of 3 participants per division (single elimination) Board Breaking Board breaking technique will be determined at tournament in accordance to age and belt level of competitor. Athlete / Coach - code of conduct and dress code will be in effect. ONLY REGISTERTED COACHES WILL BE GRANTED FLOOR ACCESS Black Belt Divisions Poomsae (Patterns) Participants may only perform the mandatory Kukkiwon approved black belt patterns Executive Divisions will perform a second black belt pattern of their choice 17 & Under Two Poomsae will be randomly chosen from Taeguek 4 and up to their current black belt level Poomsae Two patterns will be randomly chosen from Taeguk 6 and up to their current black belt level Poomsae 40 & up Two Patterns will be randomly chosen from Taeguk 8 and up to their current black belt level Poomsae There will be Individual, Pair (2 people of any gender), Team (3 people of any gender) of the same belt and age category. Board Breaking One board breaking technique is selected from the color belt division. Plus one creative board breaking technique holding by the coach.

All coaches must be black belts and registered with Kukkiwon. All coaches must abide by the coaches code of conduct and attire. Only registered coaches will be granted access to the floor.
