2 Invitation September 18 th, 2017 Dear ITF Members, This is invite you the NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF 3 rd Edition 2018 that will be held in Rome, Italy on February 24-25, 2018 according the following daily program: Saturday February 24 th, 2018 Juniors and Seniors Sunday February 25 th, 2018 Children and Cadets This event is part of the "TAEKWON-DO ITF 3 CHALLENGE CUP" WHICH CONSIST OF THE MIGHTYFIST ITALIAN TAEKWON-DO OPEN (NOVEMBER 25 TH, 2017) - THE NI-KKO ROME OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF (24-25 FEBRUARY 2018) AND THE XI OPEN INTERNACIONAL COPA BENIDORM (MARCH 24 TH 2018) Please receive all the necessary information attend the NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF event. The NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF is divided in two competition sections: - the first section is the NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF dedicated children, cadets, juniors and seniors in all belt and weight classes; - the second section is the "GRAND CHAMPION" NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF competition dedicated the BLACK BELT Juniors and Seniors M/F winners that will compete for the exclusive trophy, one dobok, one pair of Safe T Equipment and the 500,00 Euros awards. Electronic scoring system and large screens are available have a professional approach. We are looking forward meeting you in the hisrical city of Rome. 3 Information Date and Place The event will be held on Saturday February 24 th, 2018 Junior and Senior Competition Sunday February 25 th, 2018 Children and Cadets Competition in the Sportshall PALATORRINO located in Via Fiume Giallo 47, Rome (Zona Eur-Torrino) How arrive The venue is easily reachable from the center of Rome by a 20 minutes travel. - Arriving at Railway Station TERMINI (centre of Rome): by TAXI (Note: take a regular white taxi) 36 min (15.5 Km) / 26 min withoutt traffic by PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Metro B-B1 (dest. To accept that the organizers may modify a division and/or category based on the numbers of competirs. 4. Medals will be given 1st, 2nd and two 3rd place winners. 5. Competition Entry Fees Children and Cadets Pattern and/or Sparring: 25 Junior, Senior, Grand Champion Juniors and Seniors colored belts (Pattern and/or Sparring): 30 Juniors and Seniors black belts (Pattern and/or Sparring): 35 Grand Champion: 0 Umpires Any School/Club/Gym must participate with Umpire(s) according the following: Up 7 competirs: 1 Umpire / More than 8 competirs: 2 Umpires 6

7 School/Club/Gyms that do not participate with any Umpire(s) shall pay - with no exception - the amount of 75 for any missing Umpire according the number of competirs. Umpire outfit : dark blue or black pants, white shoes. A polo shirt will be provided by our sponsor. Umpires will be provided with lunch and shall receive compensation based on the job and position done. Coaches Coaches outfit: track suit, sport shoes, wel. Weigh In Junior and Seniors The Weigh In will take place at the Sportshall Palarrino at the following settled times: Friday 23/02/2018 Saturday 24/02/2017 from hours (only juniors and seniors) from hours (only juniors and seniors) At weigh in ALL Competirs must wear dobok trousers and a T or polo shirt. A lerance of kg. 0,500 is accepted. Competirs NOT making the weight shall be removed from the sparring competition and the inscription fee shall not be refunded. Height measuring - Children / Weigh In - Cadets The Weigh In and Height measuring will take place at the Sportshall Palarrino at the following settled time: Sunday 25/02/2017 from hours (only children and cadets) At weigh in ALL Competirs must wear dobok trousers and a T or polo shirt. A lerance of kg. 0,500 is accepted. Competirs NOT making the weight shall be removed from the sparring competition and the inscription fee shall not be refunded. 7

8 Sparring Equipment Competirs must have the following equipment: Hand and foot gear (color not important) Red and Blue Head gear depending on the draw Transparent mouth guard Groin guard (worn inside the dobok trousers). Protest The coach is the only one that might present a protest according the ITF Tournament rules. Attention please: participation is at your own risk. The organization is not responsible for any injury or other matter which might happen during the event. We recommend that your competirs are in possession of an insurance which covers any problem that might occur during traveling and participation the event. 14

15 NI-KKO ROMA OPEN TAEKWON-DO ITF 2018 GRAND CHAMPION Only the 1 st place winners of the Black Belt Junior and Senior sparring categories are allowed enter the Grand Champion competition.
