NSO & PSO Rules will be applied Two blue judogis will not be allowed to compete in a match. One competitor must wear white gi. White gis allowable with sash. Double Elimination for 6 or more in a pool. Round Robin for 5 or fewer in a pool. Entry Fees: All prices are quoted in Canadian funds. Spectators: Adults $1.00 Pre-Registration: $35.00 $25.00 each extra division Family Rate: $80.00 for 3 or more competing in one division each. Katas $40.00 per team (the same team may compete in all three Katas). Up to and including March 31, Make cheque or money order payable to: Peel Judo Club. Late Registration: After March 31, $40.00 each. $25.00 each extra division. Katas $50.00 per pair (the same team may compete in all three Katas). There will be no Family Rate for late registration. Kata Competition Ju-No-Kata, Goshi-Jitsu-No-Kata, Naga-No-Kata Katas will be judged by members of the Judo Ontario Grading Board. PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Judo Ontario Registration on site. All registration forms must be completed in full and waivers must be signed. A Birth Certificate may be requested upon registration The age of the competitor is determined by their age as of December 31 st of the year of the Shiai. 3-Mat Areas, all mats meet NSO & PSO requirements. The tournament Director reserves the right to delete, combine or alter any category for the successful running of this tournament. Rest period, minimum of 2X the time of regular bout time No sacrifice techniques (sutemi waza) for U9 old only (shido application). The following actions and waza are prohibited per the NSO regulations (shido application) for all categories under 13 To grip over the shoulder or the arm on the back Grip over or around the neck, with or without the judogis Leg grabbing techniques (ashi dori, morote gari, kuchiki taoshi and its variations All drop down techniques, which start on one or both knees Tani otoshi Makikomi Shimi-waza is prohibited and Sankaku Gatame is a forbidden waza (shido application) for all categories U15 and younger (14 years & younger) There is no Golden score for U 15 and younger as per NSO (Judo Canada) For U17 (16 years & younger) 2 medicals are permitted and Kansetsu-waza is prohibited For U20, Senior and Veterans divisions NSO & PSO Rules will be applied.
