(This is a 50% discount from International fee) It is mandatory for all judges to attend the judges seminar. All judges must be fair and impartial as per IKD aims and objectives. If two or more official complaints are lodged by different coaches against the impartiality or conduct of a judge or judges, the Judge Shihan-kai, after an investigation, may remove them from judging for the rest of the competition. Thus, their students or teams will not be adequately represented. Haori with silver or black whistle on black lanyard. Other non-ikd Judge s may wear their own Judge uniform or GKF uniform, Medals to be presented after each event. Winner of the 08 Frank Woon-A-Tai Cup will be determined by the dojo with the most quality medals won as per the First and Second IKD World Cups. Participants and competitors: Open to all traditional karate organizations; white uniform only. Tournament Rules: IKD/JKA/ISKF. One-point matches or a finishing blow delivered with speed, power, spirit and ki, without contact.

All competitors, their parents, friends and supporters are requested to compose themselves with dignity and respect for the decisions of the judges, as well as their fellow competitors. This is a prestigious event celebrating the 50 th Anniversary of IKD Master Woon-A-Tai teaching traditional karate in Guyana. Please be on your very best behavior as a Martial Artist. One pair of red, and one pair of blue sparring gloves. One red, and one blue belt and mouth guard. Entry for one or all events - G$,000 per person. 7 Waiver/Release Agreement for Contestants/Participants All participants must complete "Event" means the 08 Frank Woon-A-Tai Cup and related events. The undersigned is aware that there are risks and dangers inherent in participating and receiving instruction at the Event. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I hereby release and waive any claims against Frank Woon-A- Tai, International Karate Daigaku (IKD), Guyana Karate College, and any and all clubs, schools, instructors, members, judges, officials, officers, directors and representatives relating thereto (collectively the "Releases") for any injury or damage which I may suffer while participating and/or receiving instruction at the Event including travel to and from the Event. I understand and agree that this Release will have the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving and forever relinquishing any and all actions, those causes of action that I may have or have had, whether past, present or future, whether now known or unknown and whether anticipated or unanticipated by me, arising out of my participation at the Event. This Release shall be binding upon me, my heirs, successors, administrators, assigns and legal representatives.
