1 SELECT YOUR OC DEFENDER Traditional chemical irritants are little more than specially loaded spray cans. ASP Defenders were specifically designed as a dispersion system for chemical irritants. Rather than filling a standard aerosol can with Oleoresin Capsicum, Defenders incorporate a proprietary container, specially produced valve system and patented dispensing mechanism. They are precision machined from aerospace aluminum and solid brass. The entire unit is o-ring sealed. A SPLIT RINGS Heat treated and black chrome plated nesting rings provide secure retention of keys. B SAFETY The thumb released wraparound design of the Defender safety requires two separate and distinct operations to release and activate the unit. C COATING The use of bright dip architectural anodizing, matte black hardcoat and electroless nickel plating assures the durability of each Defender. D INSERT Defenders use proprietary replaceable Inserts that were designed by ASP to provide straight line dispersion of Heat (OC) or Test (Inert). E DISPERSION TIP An extremely precise aperture that controls the pattern of OC.

2 OC 84 KEYRING PROTECTION The ASP Defender Series is precision machined from high strength aerospace aluminum. They are lightweight, low profile, easily carried and devastatingly effective. Bright dip industrial anodizing is accented by an injection molded Delrin safety. The solid brass keyring swivel retains two heat treated, black chrome plated split rings. Both the dispersion tip and retention cap are o-ring sealed. The safety is positive and secure. Release requires two distinct movements. Straight line activation places a cone-shaped spray on target, even in the dark. Heat (OC) provides two million Scoville Heat Units of Oleoresin Capsicum protection. PERSONAL DEFENDER SERIES OC 86 Personal Defenders eliminate the likelihood of accidental OC discharge.

Discharging the system requires two separate and distinct operations to disengage the safety and activate the Insert.

Both Palm and Key Defenders have solid brass swivel activators, wraparound Delrin safeties and heat treated black chrome split rings.

Holding the Defender in the traditional ready position, the safety may be pushed off and the OC activated or the baton expanded.

The system can use its own Inserts or Palm Defender canisters by means of a conversion tube.
