All bikes with serial numbers DAY and newer have been manufactured with the plastic chain guard. 3 Customer Service Bulletin Crank Change/Compatibility I.C. Pro There was a change to the thickness of the crank sprocket, on the I.C. Pro, from 3/32 (2.1mm) to 1/8 (2.6mm). When this change was made, the chain and the flywheel sprocket had to be changed to make them compatible. 3/32 (2.1mm) 1/8 (2.6mm) If any of these components are mismatched, there will be compatibility or timing issues between the cranks, chain and flywheel sprocket. So it is critical that the correct parts are ordered (based off the serial number of the bike). Timing The timing between the 3/32 and 1/8 cranks are different. Should a 1/8 left crank be installed on a bike with a 3/32 right crank/sprocket, the arms will not be aligned (Fig. 1). Fig.1 SCHWINN FITNESS 1 of Rev: A

5 Customer Service Bulletin Excessive Handlebar Play, Design Change Schwinn IC Pro Tools/Parts Required New handlebar kit KT A. Handlebar on the IC Pro has been changed due to reports of excessive play. The handlebar on the IC Pro in some instances can have play even with the pop pin being tightened (Fig. 1). To eliminate this play the design has been changed from a square to a trapezoidal handlebar stem (Fig. 2) and handlebar sleeve. A newly released kit with part number KT will resolve this issue.
