2 Mark Mckinley CV About me Junior designer based in London. I have several years experience in the creative industry working for clients including BBC, ITV, Orange Mobile and Panasonic. Although originally from a motion graphics and editing background I have gravitated toward graphic design, where my true passion lies. I currently own a photography studio company in brixton and do freelance graphic design for several companies. I am focused on moving my skill-set further into graphic design within a full time junior position. Recent Employment Perform Group Junior Designer/ Operator (Freelance) December 2010-Present I am very pleased to have produced graphics for one of the world s leading providers of sports broadcasting. My work involves the design, build and operation of sports graphics for ITV and ESPN: team lineups, score straps and promo content for premiership rugby and football matches. Synaptic Digital Graphic Design and Editing (Freelance) March 2010-Present Freelance work for global marketing agency, working with companies such as Chevrolet, Proctor and Gamble and Panasonic. Duties include website banner design, the editing and encoding of news packages and general video graphic content. Flix Media Video Content Producer (Freelance) September 2010-December 2010 My role involved producing video and animation web content for clients such as Canon, Intel and HP. Main duties included building web promotional content, such as mini-sites, in Photoshop and editing and motion graphics within Final Cut Pro 7 and After Effects. Skills Highly skilled within several design programs, I love technology and pick up new skills very quickly. Both Mac and PC proficient. White Room Studio Company Owner March 2011-Present Having always had a keen interest in photography, I started the white room studio in Brixton in March The studio has gone from strength to strength and currently services editorial, fashion and food photography clients, including Wallpaper, The Observer, Samsung, Tesco and Channel 4. As part of the company I also provide photographic retouching services and lend my creative talents to the designing of company promo material such as flyers, business cards and website.
