MEMBERSHIP RULES Eye and ear protection is mandatory for shooters, spectators, trap personnel and referees. Abide by all course signage. Membership will be revoked for safety violations. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed before shooting. You are not permitted on the course if you have consumed an alcoholic beverage. Carry your gun open at all times when not shooting. Never point your gun at anyone. Open your gun before exiting station. Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Always keep ammunition of different gauges in separate bags. If you have a misfire or malfunction, keep your gun pointed down range for 5 seconds before opening. Check your gun for barrel obstruction prior to each use and immediately after each low report. No gun shall be loaded until the shooter is on the shooting station. Member rates do not include equipment. Membership is valid for months from date of purchase. Reservations are required at all times for the sporting clays course. FLY FISHING & FISH FOR FUN GENERAL RULES Fishing permits and memberships are non-transferable and must be displayed at all times while fishing. When capturing fish, please use nets and handle fish with extreme care. Wading is not permitted in lakes. Fishing areas are open year round, weather permitting, and fishing hours are one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. No ice fishing permitted. Always be courteous to others fishing around you and please respect their space. Anglers are asked to rotate around the lakes and not monopolize areas. Please park in legally designated areas only. ADDITIONAL FLY FISHING FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS & FISH FOR FUN FAMILY MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY An Additional Family Fly Fishing membership may be purchased by any immediate family member living in the same household. Valid family members include legally married couples and children who are 7 and under at the time you purchase the pass. Fish for Fun Family membership passes are valid for up to two adults and two children from the same household only. FLY FISHING & FISH FOR FUN AREA RULES SPECIAL REGULATION AREAS Fly Fishing Only Lake Gosling, Split-Rock Pond, Clay Pigeon Pond Fishing is permitted with conventional fly fishing rods and artificial flies with single barbless hooks. Special Regulation Areas are catch and release only. Clay Pigeon Pond, located at Sporting Clays, is only open during the hours of the shooting facility. A Seven Springs fishing guide is required. FISH FOR FUN AREAS All Tackle Areas Otter, Muskrat, Beaver, Squirrel, Rainbow and Turtle ponds Fishing is permitted with conventional fly fishing rods and spin rods. Fish for Fun Areas are open tackle and have a TWO TROUT limit. FREERIDE AND DOWNHILL TERRAIN Bikers should be advised that green circle, blue square and black diamond trail designations at Seven Springs are not necessarily the same as a similarly rated trail at other parks. The system is a relative system and is only valid in this area. Bikers should work their way up, beginning with the easiest trails no matter what their ability level may be, until they are familiar with the trails at Seven Springs. Freeride and downhill areas may contain jumps, hits, ramps, banks, drops, skinnys, rollers, tables and other constructed or natural terrain features. Prior to using freeride or downhill terrain, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with freeride or downhill terrain and for obeying all instructions, warnings and signs. Freeride and downhill skills require maintaining control on the ground and in the air. Use of freeride and downhill terrain exposes you to the risk of serious injury or death. You assume the risk. Be advised that all poles, flags, fencing, signage and padding on equipment, objects or other forms of marking devices are used by Seven Springs to inform you of the presence or location of a potential obstacle or hazard. These markers are no guarantee of your safety and will not protect you from injury. It is part of your responsibility under Rules of the Trail to avoid all obstacles or hazards, including those that are so marked. No one under age is permitted to ride downhill terrain. Visit for current park hours. FREERIDE AND DOWNHILL TERRAIN Seven Springs is committed to promoting trail safety. Share the trails and be courteous to others. Be aware that there are elements and risk in biking and hiking that common sense and personal awareness can help prevent. Observe the Rules of the Trail and share it with others on the trails for a great experience.. Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.. People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.. Whenever starting or merging into a trail, look both ways and yield to others. 5. All bike riders must wear helmets. 6. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas. 7. Do not cut switchbacks. 8. Prior to using any lift, you must have knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely. Downhill Bike Park season pass applicants must fill out section A on the back of this application. I understand that there is a risk of serious injury or death if I participate in this activity. The risks are too numerous to completely list, but some of them are: () falls and collisions caused by natural and man made obstacles and hazards (for example, variations in terrain, mud, dirt, gravel, rocks, trees, stumps, and other forms of forest growth or debris, jumps, ladders, drops, moguls, bike park features, stairs, tight switchbacks, raised platforms, wheel lifts, fences, posts, poles, barriers, and bridges); () collisions with persons, vehicles, and bicycles () bicycle loss of control () heat exhaustion or heat stroke; (5) negligence on the part of Seven Springs (for example, failure to adequately construct or maintain trails or bike park features; failure to warn of hazards and obstacles; and, failure to maintain bikes and other equipment); and, (6) cardiac problems, stroke, loss of consciousness, and other conditions that may be worsened by physical activity. You may, but are not required to, list any conditions that are a concern here: In consideration for being allowed to participate in downhill mountain biking, I agree to the following: In consideration for being allowed to participate in downhill mountain biking, I agree to the following: () to accept all risks arising out of or relating to downhill mountain biking, including, but not limited to, the risks listed above. I understand that this means I am accepting the risk of injury or death due to Seven Springs negligence (for example, failure to adequately construct or maintain trails or bike park features; failure to warn of hazards or obstacles; and, failure to maintain bikes and other equipment). () to follow all rules, instructions and directions of Seven Springs, including, but not limited to, the Rules of the Trail. and Ride Smart. Also, I agree to wear all required protective equipment (including helmets and body armor). () to waive my right to bring any claims against Seven Springs that arise out of or relate to my participation in downhill mountain biking, and to release Seven Springs from liability for any such claims. This waiver and release includes claims based upon allegations of negligence on the part of Seven Springs (for example, failure to adequately construct or maintain trails or bike park features; failure to warn of hazards and obstacles; and, failure to maintain bikes and other equipment). I further agree that I will indemnify, hold harmless, and reimburse Seven Springs for all losses (including attorneys fees and costs) from any claims brought by any persons or entities arising out of or relating to my participation in downhill mountain biking. () that the terms of this Agreement are binding on my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, and shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All disputes arising under this Agreement shall be litigated in the Court of Common Pleas of Somerset County, Pennsylvania. (5) that all rented bicycles are accepted by me as is, and that Seven Springs does not guarantee their safety or their fitness for any particular purpose or use. I also agree to pay all security deposits, breakage fees, or other fees required for bicycle rental; and, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, to pay 00% of the cost of repair or replacement ( at current retail value) of rental bicycles. (6) that I am years old or older. (7) full Body Armor is strongly recommended. Refused Full Body Armor (initial) (8) that I will use a downhill mountain bike equipped with front suspension. Adults: I understand this Agreement and enter into it voluntarily. Minors: I understand this Agreement and enter into it voluntarily. I have discussed this Agreement with my parent, guardian, or the adult responsible for my well-being and safety while I use a downhill mountain bike. Parents, guardians, or responsible adults: I agree: () that I have discussed this Agreement with the minor; () that paragraphs four and five above apply to any claim by me related to the minor s participation; () that I will pay any amounts due under paragraph five; and, () to indemnify and hold Seven Springs harmless for all losses (including attorneys fees and costs) from any claims by or on behalf of the minor related to the minor s participation in downhill mountain biking. RELEASE AGREEMENT Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Inc. d/b/a Seven Springs Mountain Resort, its owners, officers, employees, agents, representatives, parents, and affiliates (hereinafter, Seven Springs ) has agreed to permit me to use the sporting clays course. In consideration for Seven Springs permission, I agree: () that there is a risk of serious injury or death if I participate in sporting clays. Some of the risks that I may encounter are defective or faulty weapons or ammunition, negligence of other participants, and negligence of Seven Springs. () that I accept all risks arising out of or relating to my participation in the sport of shooting clays, whether listed in paragraph () above or not. () that I will read and abide by the Seven Springs sporting clays course rules and regulations, as well as all other Seven Springs rules and regulations as they may be posted or presented by Seven Springs personnel. And, that if I do not follow these rules and regulations, my permission to participate will be revoked, and any fees or charges that I paid will not be refunded. () that I am in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the use and possession of firearms, and that I will inform Seven Springs immediately if I learn of any reason why I cannot legally use or possess firearms. (5) to waive my right to bring any claims against Seven Springs that arise out of or relate to my participation in sporting clays, and to release Seven Springs from liability for any such claims. This waiver and release includes claims based upon negligence by Seven Springs. I further agree that I will indemnify, hold harmless, and reimburse Seven Springs for all losses (including attorneys fees and costs) from any claims brought by any persons or entities arising out of or relating to my participation in sporting clays. (6) that all disputes arising under this Release or from participation in sporting clays shall be litigated exclusively in the Court of Common Pleas of Somerset County, Pennsylvania. (7) I grant Seven Springs permission to use photographic and/ or video images of me for the purpose of marketing, publicizing and promoting the resort operations. I waive any right to be compensated for the use of my image and release Seven Springs from liability for any claims, where such claims arise out of or relate to Seven Springs use of my image.
