2 2018 VERMONT 200 PROCEDURES, RULES & PURSE (UPDATED 9/07/18) SPORTSMAN MODIFIEDS RACE PROCEDURE All drivers MUST file an Official Entry Form prior to competing. The fee is $50 on or before September 1, or $75 after. The Vermont 200 is a one-day show for Sportsman Modifieds; there is no mandatory qualifying or racing on Saturday. Saturday s optional race is for drivers who have not won a feature at any track in 2018 in a Sportsman, Limited, 358, or Big Block Modified. There is a one-hour practice session open to all drivers on Saturday evening (see schedule). Sunday s Feature Race is 200 laps. The race is considered official at the completion of Lap 101. Caution/yellow flag laps will count for the first 180 laps. Drivers who are stopped on the track or on Pit Road will lose laps during the first 180 laps. The final 20 laps will be run under green flag racing conditions only. There will be a 15-minute competition break after Lap 101 is completed. The restart lineup will be based on the official scoring of Lap 101, and not on the order that drivers exit Pit Road. Pit Road will be in the infield during the Feature Race. Cars dropping out of the race must pull to the infield grass and not remain in pit stall on Pit Road. Any driver who exits the track into the outer Garage Area will be considered out of the race and will not be eligible to rejoin the race. Pit stalls will be assigned by the posted Feature Race starting lineup order. Rain date will be Sunday, September 23, if needed. SPORTSMAN MODIFIEDS QUALIFYING PROCEDURE MAXIMUM 34 STARTERS All Sportsman Modified qualifying and racing will be held on Sunday only. Qualifying procedures may be adjusted depending upon car count. Any car/driver changes after qualifying will result in that car/driver starting at the rear. All drivers will draw at random for Time Trial Groups. Time Trials will be 2 laps maximum 12 cars per group. 2 fastest drivers will be locked in by Time Trials. Heats will be lined up by Time Trial speed. 8 Heats 12 Laps each Top 3 finishers qualify. 4 Consis 15 Laps each Winners transfer. Up to 4 Provisionals will be available for Devil s Bowl Speedway 100% drivers, if needed: o 3 Provisionals available for Sportsman Modified drivers. o 1 Provisional available for Limited Sportsman drivers. o Best finishers in Consi(s) will earn Provisionals. In the event of a tie for Consi finishing position, tiebreaker will be fastest Time Trial speed. Top 2 Time Trial drivers and 8 Heat winners will redraw for Top 10 starting positions. Heads-up starting positions for all other Heat and Consi transfers. All non-qualified cars may run one of two 20-lap B-Mains for $500 to win (no transfers). Drivers who attempt to qualify for the Feature Race who hold a current, valid NASCAR license will receive 50 bonus points toward the track championship standings. This applies to drivers in both the Sportsman Modified and Limited Sportsman divisions.

Any driver allowed, regardless of experience. 2. Any part of any car may be impounded for inspection purposes. 3. Minimum weight 2,400 lbs. after race, driver in seat, race-ready. 4. GM-sealed 602 crate engine only. No open engines or unsealed crate engines. 5. Maximum Octane 98 fuel. No oxygenated fuels or additives (example: Crate Extreme). 6. Must use DIRTcar/DBS-approved rev limiter 6,200 rpm max. 7. Hoosier tires only, minimum D300 compound. 8. Must use MYLAPS (or AMB) transponder. 9. Must use RACEceiver or one-way radio; no two-way radios. RACEceiver Channel: 000 / Scanner Freq.: All teams are encouraged to check weights on official track scales prior to competition. SPORTSMAN MODIFIED VERMONT 200 PURSE STRUCTURE: IMPORTANT: Payout and/or bonuses WILL NOT be paid on the day of the event. Drivers or owners must complete a W-9 income tax form with Devil s Bowl Speedway prior to being paid. Checks and/or bonus certificates will be mailed during the week following the event. 4 2018 VERMONT 200 TICKET & PIT PASS INFORMATION GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS & PIT PASSES All tickets and pit passes will be sold at the event. No pre-sale available. There will be no refunds in whole or in part. General Admission tickets are valid for Grandstand seating only. Pit Passes are valid for Pit Area admission and Grandstand seating. All Pit Passes are valid for both weekend days. No track or series licenses will be required. All Saturday and Two-Day General Admission Tickets and Pit Passes include admission to the annual BBQ party. Tickets/Pit Passes will be required in order to be served. There is not a Senior or Teen discount price available for the Vermont 200 Weekend event. All children in the Pit Area (minimum age 10 per Vermont State Law) must be accompanied by an adult and have a signed Minor s Release Form completed. 5 CAMPING INFORMATION 2018 VERMONT 200 CAMPING INFORMATION Camping will be open on Friday, Sept. 14 at 12:00 noon until Monday, Sept. 17 at 12:00 noon. Camping Passes are $25 each, and are valid for the duration of Sept Camping Passes will be required for all RVs, trailers, trucks, tents, etc., that are in designated campsites. No racecar haulers will be permitted to park in camping areas. All personal vehicles must be parked in general parking areas. All campsites are dry no water or power hookups. Facility grounds may be soft in some areas. Please bring boards, blocks, etc., to place under wheels if needed. Camping guests are responsible for keeping tidy campsites. Absolutely no dumping of grey water or waste water permitted. Campfires must be contained in a steel, concrete, stone, or similar ring. No firewood will be available for sale on site. Restrooms and portable toilets will be available throughout the facility. Water on site is not potable. Ice will be available for sale on site. No showers are available on site. Shower facilities are located at the Mac s Market (Citgo) and Maplefields (Mobil/Subway) locations in Fair Haven, approximately 5 miles south of the speedway on Route 22A.
