Friday: Practice, Heats 1 Saturday: Heats 2 & 3 Sunday: Heat 4 & Final 6 Lap Heats and 10 Lap Final (Chief Steward has the right to decrease laps due to time restraints or move program forward). Racing in Both Directions Track graded as necessary. POINTS: 20 Point System Quick grid to be used to calculate grid draw and placings Final positions to be contested over 4 heats and a final with all points counting for overall result. CLASSES: A minimum of 8 genuine nominations constitutes a class Junior Light KT Light 100cc Open 125cc Light Junior Heavy KT Medium 200cc Open 125cc Heavy KT Heavy KT Twins Statesman Outlaws ROOKIES Demonstration class only Rookies will run Sunday only, there is no guarantee as to how many heats they will get as they are non- competitive Rookies Nomination fee $10 Rookies nomination directly to GSKC via the GSKC website ONLY FIRST 20 NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR EACH CLASS. Rookies will receive participation awards. Nominations close Monday 20 th August pm WST CLASS REQUIREMENTS: A min of 8 genuine nominations will constitute a class as per rule 5 of appendix A of the current 2018 AIDKA rule book. 3 ENTRIES: Online nominations are the only method for nominating for all except Rookies AIDKA web site: Full payments must accompany nomination. ENTRANT ELIGIBILITY: As Per Rules 1 & 2 Appendix A of the 2018 AIDKA Rule Book: 1. To compete in a class you must have the appropriate Licence grade or higher for that class. All drivers nominating for a title event must have completed a minimum of three (3) CLUB meetings in a one (1) year period in that grade or higher to be eligible to run a title event. Endorsed or Probationary drivers will need three (3) ROF and three (3) in the field (total of six (6) race meetings) before the close of nominations. LICENCE GRADES: AS PER RULE: Nominations shall only be accepted as per the prospectus with any requested information and the appropriate fees. The nomination forms, payment and copy of drivers log book must be received by AIDKA so that all nominations can be verified and acceptance granted, AIDKA will notify the host club of the status of nominations. Refund Policy: Any nomination cancelled before close of nomination will incur a 50% fee. Cancellations after closing will result in a loss of nomination fee. The only exemption are cancellations due to a valid medical reason (certificate required) these cancellations will receive a full refund. PAYMENT METHOD: : Full payment must accompany the nomination via the AIDKA website for your nomination to be accepted. PayPal is required to complete payment. Confirmation of your nomination will be posted on AIDKA website. If number allocations are required, once Janelle has triple checked all nominations and advised those that need to change race numbers either by via and/or text and all concern are happy, only those needing the change will be posted on the AIDKA website. RULES: As per the 2018 AIDKA Rule Book DRUGS AND ALCOHOL: Drug and alcohol testing may be carried out at random over the course of the Australian Title Event on any given day or time, as per the AIDKA Drug and Alcohol Policy, located on the AIDKA website. SCALES: Competitors must weigh to the scales of the day, as per AIDKA rule 10.8 of the 2018 AIDKA Rule Book FUEL TESTING: As per Appendix B of the 2018 AIDKA Rule Book. REGISTRATION & SCRUTINEERING: At the driver registration on Friday between 8.00am & 10.00am you will be required to sign in. Here you will be issued with an armband, you will sign the indemnity sheet & have your log book filled in, if you haven t pre-printed a scrutineering form you will be able to get one here, and you will be issued your chassis and engine seals. You will require an engine seal for the engine you will be running. If you require an additional seal for your spare, these will be available from the scrutineer during the meeting. Any engine sealed must be presented with the seal still attached for engine measuring at the completion of the meeting. You will also require a chassis seal if your chassis does not have a chassis number stamped into it. AIDKA seals intact from previous titles may be reused. Once you have your seals and self-scrutineering form you are required to complete the form. Please ensure that you have entered the correct seal numbers in the correct space. Do not mix up the engine & chassis seals and make sure the form is signed at the bottom. When your class is called up for practise, you will be requested to bring up the self-scrutineering form and hand it to the official on the out grid before you proceed. If you are not participating in practice you must bring your form up at the time of your first heat. ALL FORMS MUST BE HANDED IN BEFORE THE START OF RACING Seals must be fitted prior to the first heat of racing. Random checks will be performed on karts during the meeting. Any items deemed unsafe will be required to be rectified before the kart can enter the track or be excluded from starting the race. If you have any questions regarding technical requirements you can ask an official who will direct you to the appropriate person.

4 Forms can be found at AIDKA-Self-Scrutineering-Form RACING NUMBERS: As per Rule 33 Appendix A of the 2018 AIDKA Rule Book, if one or more entrants nominate with the same racing number in a class, o First preference goes to the GSKC member, o Second preference to the driver with the lowest AIDKA licence number. Current Australian and State Title plates are permitted to be used. The allocated number will be issued by the AIDKA Secretary and advised via the AIDKA website after close of nominations. Racing numbers must comply with rule through to rule inclusive. Please refer to the images available on the AIDKA website. PIT AREA ACCESS: Only AIDKA licenced persons are permitted in the pit bay area. All other persons must purchase a Casual Pit Pass & wear enclosed shoes before entering the pit area. The following options are available: ONE DAY Pit Pass $ 5.00 TWO DAYS Pit Pass $ THREE DAYS Pit Pass $ If the Weekend wrist band is removed prior to the end of the State Title Event, a new Pit Pass must be purchased. WRIST BANDS AND ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILST IN THE DESIGNATED PIT AREA. PLEASE NOTE: Children under 5 and Adults over 90 are not covered by AIDKA Insurance, therefore enter the pit area at their own, or parent/guardians risk. These persons will need to sign in, sign a waiver and wear a wrist band that shows they have done so, before entry to the pit area. PIT AREA RULES: Smoking is not permitted in the Pit Area at any time. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas; the location of this area will be announced at drivers brief. Shade tents are permitted provided they are no larger than 3mx3m, as this is a standard pit bay size. A request form will be made available, should you wish to be located near another competitor. While every effort will be made to satisfy requests, no guarantees can be made, as your request may not be achievable. AIDKA insurance does not cover ambulance travel. Please ensure you have your own cover in place, should you require an ambulance. Alcohol is NOT TO BE CONSUMED or located in the pit area at any time. Vehicles are not permitted in the pit area while racing is in progress, until the conclusion of racing on the last day. ** Note: Any Equipment Left At The Track Overnight Is Done So At Your Own Risk. Great Southern Kart Club Inc. Accepts No Responsibility For Any Loss Or Damage Of Any Equipment Left Unattended. Security Will Only Be On Site Between 7pm And 7am Friday And Saturday Nights. 5 FACILITIES: Full canteen facilities, including lunch and dinner on Friday, breakfast lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. No Alcohol is to be brought onto the premises at any time over the course of the event. A licenced bar will be available at the conclusion of the final race of the day. **Note: GSKC supports the responsible consumption of alcohol, please ensure you have a designated driver to get you home safely if you intend to consume alcohol. TROPHIES: Trophies and Australian Title number plates will be awarded to the first three place winners. Awards will be awarded to those placed 4th to 6th. PRESENTATION will be held at the Wagin Rec Centre Door open 6.30pm All dinner ticket holders must be seated by 7pm, non dinner ticket holders can mingle in the bar area. Presentation of trophies will start at 8.30pm Bar facilities are available and entertainment will be provided. Dinner is to be pre-purchased upon nomination; there will be NO sales after close of nominations. NO REFUNDS Adult $30 Kids under 12yrs $15 Kids under 4yrs $5 Tables will be allocated so fill in attached form with your table/s name/s. Non meal ticket holders can gather at the bar in the Lounge area until trophy presentations starts at 8.30pm.

7 PIT BAY REQUESTS If you would like to have your Trailer in the Pits or would like to be pitted with or next to certain people, please We need; Trailer Length (including draw bar) & Width. If rear opening, please include this in total length! Can your trailer be moved around with a few people or do we need to allow your vehicle to position the trailer. How many people pitting out of Trailer? Please provide Names & Classes. Anything else we need to allow for or know, please specify. Please don t call Adrian or Brian regarding Pit Bays, just Adrian at this stage. Adrian will make contact with each Person or Team Organiser in due course but rest assured we want to make this as best as possible for everyone and we want you all to know where you will be pitted and/ or who you will be pitting with ASAP, within 48hrs of nominations closing. The following criteria for your consideration; Trailers will not be able to be removed at the end of each day/ night and put back in the next day. Once in, it s in for the weekends racing. If you do need to remove it for any reason, please see Adrian Haywood or Brian Chalmers for assistance to get it out but understand, it will not be able to go back in the next day. Trailer bays - Will be 6x3 (Minimum 6 karts), 9x3 (Minimum 9 Karts), 12x3 (Minimum 12 karts) and so on. We understand there are Teams of this size, however for the smaller teams, If you would like your trailer in the pits, please help us and yourselves by getting together and teaming up. Pits will open from Thursday 10am (Both Weekends) for those that will be pitting out of trailers, all trailers MUST be in the pits No Later than 10am Friday, Absolutely No Exceptions. Non Trailer Bays will be 3x3 (Minimum 2 Karts), 6x3 (Minimum 4 Karts) and so on, we ask that you again pair up, team up so we will be do our best on your behalf.

8 TABLES Tables & seats will be allocated All seated persons must have purchased a dinner ticket online with nomination Each table will seat 8-10 Persons Please list your table members and a table will be reserve for your team.
