4 Good evening everyone, The Penhall Family would like to thank all of you who have come out tonight to support the 4th Annual Connor Penhall Memorial Cup! Your continued support over the years has not gone unnoticed. We could not continue to host this incredible event without your support. We are so proud of this evening, and what it represents. With your support we have made this one of the biggest Speedway races of the year!! Of course, tonight wouldn t be possible if we didn t have some of the best racers in the United States here with us tonight. Tonight we will have one of the biggest purses of the season and these racers definitely deserve it! None of this would be possible if we didn t have such a solid dedicated team working so hard to raise this goal. Carol Perez and Kelly Inman had this extraordinary idea for the Connor Cup and without their dedication, we would not be here tonight. Carol, we all feel such a loss without you here with us tonight, but we hope that we continue to make your proud with this race. Your legacy will continue to live on here at Industry Racing. Kelly Inman continues to work so hard for the sport of Speedway and raising the bar for this profession. We could not be a better man in charge of the Connor Cup and Speedway. Continuing to add to the gratuity of the Connor Cup, we would like like to thank our extremely generous title sponsor FST Sand and Gravel. We cannot thank you enough for your support. We would also like to thank Eric Morley and his entire staff at Blue C for their solid commitment in the building of this race. Tonight would not be possible without these generous people. I would also like to thank Bruce Svatos, my very good friend, who always works so hard to raise money for the Connor Cup. He worked selflessly because of his dedication to Connor and the sport of Speedway. I am so excited to have Bobby Boogaloo Schwartz as the GRAND MARSHALL of the Connor Cup. Bobby and I spent years racing together as partners, and won the World Best Pairs and the World Team Cup in Bobby you are a true mentor to so many other Speedway racers and we appreciate everything your have done for the sport of Speedway and all of us professionals Speedway Racers. We have all looked up to you for years. If there is one thing I could as one thing from everyone, it would be this... PLEASE be very careful around Construction Zones and DON T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!
