The Zachem family has owned a business, Lu-Mac's Package Store in Preston, CT, for over 50 years. They know how advertising and getting your name out, attracts new and repeat customers. In 2018, the team will be competing on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour running for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour national championship. Also, Max will be racing open competition shows for select events all over the Northeast area. All races have the potential to bring business to you. 6 What Is An Asphalt Tour Modified? Asphalt Modifieds, a unique racecar division, evolved from the prewar (1940) coupes and sedan stock cars that began on dirt and transitioned to asphalt. During the seventy s and eighty s, the style of cars turned to more modern models like the Chevy Corvair, AMC Gremlins, and Ford Pinto. Steel Tubing was used to create custom roll cages and chassis designs in many backyards, while the modern body style was used. The home base of asphalt modifieds is throughout the Northeast region of the United States. Although as years transpired several tracks in Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee host national events. Asphalt modifieds also race annually in New Smyrna Beach, Florida during Speedweeks in February. New Smyrna Speedway is located less than thirty minutes away of Daytona International Speedway. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Touring Series, NASCAR oldest touring series, is the highest level of asphalt modified racing in the country. Over the last seventy years the evolution of asphalt-modified racing has changed tremendously. The sleek 15-inch slick tires with V-8 engines producing over 600 horsepower, these racecars put on a great show for the fans. The modifieds are incredibly unique and they catch your eye at first glance. Two inches off the ground, sleek modern design, they give any current racecar a run for their money.

7 Insurance Regulations Max Zachem and all the members of MPZ Motorsports acknowledge the dangers behind auto racing. They further acknowledge that the sponsor is in no way liable or responsible for any injuries that may occur to the driver and/or team personnel while at the racetrack in competition, traveling to or from the track, or at the team garage. It is the responsibility of Max Zachem and/or MPZ Motorsports personnel to have customary and usual motor vehicle insurance on any truck or trailer used to transport the racecar and team equipment. It is the sole responsibility of Max Zachem and each team member to have appropriate medical and hospitalization insurance. Max Zachem and MPZ Motorsports will not compete at any motorsports facility that does not have an appropriately executed liability and medical insurance policy covering competitors, employees, and spectators.
