Fall Color Tour October 8th It s time to get the Corvette out and take a lesurly drive down scenic highways enjoying the Fall colors. We will be ending up at Todd Gifford s lake cottage near Delhi, Iowa for lunch around 12:30-1:00. Lake Delhi Cottage address is th Ave. Delhi, IA. It will be a 3 hour drive on two lane roads (mostly) up to Delhi, Iowa. Hwy 6, to Hwy 151 (Amanas) to Hwy 38 (Monticello).

3 Heartland Regional Update The initial planning committee has met via conference calls for the past few months to develop some of the preliminary steps for the Regional event next spring. In this issue you will find the registration form and flyer about the event that Don Heckenberg has created for publication in the Driveline beginning in the October/November issue. The online registration will be made available in November. We encourage everyone to take advantage of registering that way. Todd Gifford has prepared a one page document that illustrates the various sponsor ship levels that are available (also in this issue). It is written in such a manner as to do all the heavy lifting to potential sponsors. Its very self explanatory and anyone that is interested will see the benefits. Rich Hein - Food and Hotel/Motel accommodations We recommend getting your reservation in at your preference of hotel/motel now. The host hotel is Best Western Holiday Manor, NCRS rate is $ % tax. We have 50 rooms saved out of 77 rooms total. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, from a Holiday Inn Express. Pella Tulip time happens the same weekend and does put pressure on the Newton based motels. I have samples of the Ultra Premium Polo shirts and t-shirts that I will bring to the Fall Color Drive in October. In early May of 2017, the best of the best s Corvettes and their owners, as well as many other NCRS members, will convene at Iowa Speedway to have these spectacular cars Judged by the world s most knowledgeable and toughest Judges in the Corvette hobby. The people who attend this event are crazy about Corvettes and classic cars, and cars in general and they spend a tremendous amount of money fueling their passion for Corvettes and cars.
