5 ROOKIE & LIMITED SPORTSMAN APPLICATION If you plan to compete in multiple divisions, please complete multiple forms. Driver Division Phone Requests evaluated on individual basis. In rare cases, exceptions may be made. No driver shall assume he/she is eligible for Rookie or Limited Sportsman status or benefits without receiving official approval from Devil s Bowl Speedway management. NOTE: Devil s Bowl Speedway and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series have separate rookie criteria. NASCAR Division I (Sportsman Modified) eligibility is based on previous NASCAR Division I licensure and does not apply to Devil s Bowl Speedway requirements. Rookie approval by NASCAR does not necessarily mean approval by Devil s Bowl Speedway, and vice versa. ROOKIE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS DIVISIONS: Sportsman Modified, Super Stock, Mini Stock, 500cc Mini Sprint Drivers requesting Rookie status in 2018 must meet ALL of the following criteria: No more than five (5) feature race starts in selected division in any one season No more than ten (10) total attempts to qualify in selected division during career No more than one (1) feature race win in selected division during career No more than three (3) total feature race starts in any higher division during career LIMITED SPORTSMAN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Drivers requesting to compete in the Limited Sportsman division must meet ALL of the following criteria: No prior experience in a Big Block Modified on dirt. No feature wins in 358 Modifieds or Sportsman Modifieds on dirt prior to 2018 Devil s Bowl season. No more than five (5) feature wins in Limited Sportsman or similar division prior to 2018 Devil s Bowl season. Any driver who has competed in a regular Sportsman Modified division at a track that does not offer a Limited Sportsman (or similar) division may apply for approval. Any driver with experience in similar or higher divisions on asphalt, but with no prior experience on dirt, may apply for approval. List all previous racing experience: Signature Date
