Thank you all very much for your contributions to today's shoot! We had an awesome lunch of chili dogs, chips and cookies today. Thank you Nathan Bowder for bringing chili, and Ellie Shoemaker for getting hotdogs cooked and serving everyone - it was great! We had a lot of fun shooting, too. There was a shoot-off in every event: Singles A-Class between C.W. Floyd (23) and Stubby Hughes (25), Doubles B-Class between Jay Davis (16) and Clint Brooks (17), and Long-Yard Handicap between Brandon Nieder (27yd) (19), Stubby Hughes (26.5yd) (23) and Pete Hudson (23yd) (23), and again between Hughes (23) and Hudson (22) for the tie. What a great start to the week! We can't wait to see everyone out at the club!

We had a couple Singles Shoot-Offs: Class B between Pete Hudson (23) and Dave Inman (24), and Class C between Chuck Thorsrud (23) and Jay Gesin (24). There was also a Handicap Shoot-Off for Mid-Yard between Pete Hudson (23yd) (22) and Brett Nieder (22.5yd) (25). Big thank you to Carol McConahy, who generously brought all the fixins for a sandwich bar. It was amazing! Tonight we are also enjoying Stubby's Famous Potluck BBQ, so thank you to Stubby and Kathy Hughes, John Schumaker for bringing salmon, and Rohn Abbott for bringing goose appetizers.

There was one shoot-off for Mid-Yard Handicap between Dave Kaiser (23yd) (22) and Chuck Thorsrud (22yd) (18). We had a minor set back today with a broken trap, but thanks to Dan Glaves and John Schumaker, we were up and running again in no time at all. Today's lunch was spaghetti, provided by Claudia Pierson. Thank you, Claudia (and Jeff)!

There were two shoot-offs: A-Class between Brandon Nieder (23) and Brian "Stubby" Hughes (22), and Senior Vet between Jay Davis (25) and C.W. Floyd (21). We also had a Hat Shoot for Mar'chant Thompson, Jr. He shot his first 25 straight today - congratulations, Mar'chant, Jr.! Lunch today was giant Subway sandwiches, provided by Audrey and Roger Mauer. Thank you both very much, the sammies were great! We had our annual meeting after trophy presentations to discuss various topics, such as Sue Brewer's retirement, thank yous, sponsors, All-Star and HOA Teams, and Wally Smith's induction to the Hall of Fame. Congratulations Wally, and thank you for all that you contribute to the great sport of trap shooting! Our incredible BBQ Banquet Dinner was cooked by Ray Flores - BIG, BIG THANK YOU TO RAY! We really appreciate you feeding all us hungry shooters - it was absolutely delicious, and we hope you'll do it again next year!

Floyd (17), High Lady Handicap between Karen Gardner (19yd) (21) and Carol Inman (22.5yd) (19), Handicap Runner Up between Brett Nieder (27yd) (21) and Mar'chant Thompson (19yd) (22), and Mid-Yard Handicap between Mike Grant (23.5yd) (23), Bob Setren (24yd) (25), John Schumaker (22yd) (22), and Joe Hughes (24.5yd) (18). Lunch today was leftovers from the week, and it was great as always. Someone I've been forgetting to thank is Larry Hannesson, who has been making us breakfast all week, making sure we have full bellies before shooting. Thank you for all you do for the shoot Larry!
