2 ACCOMMODATION Meetings and accommodation will be provided at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel, a superior 4-star resort situated on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Limassol. The Hotel s unique location provides all the advantages, including spectacular views of the island s southern coastline. Approximately half a mile from the hotel lies the ancient town of Amathounta, believed to be the first inhabited city of Limassol. A pedestrian path along the beachfront links the hotel to this noteworthy archaeological site from the East side, and to Limassol from the west. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, the split-level outdoor pool with its stone cave and arcaded area resembles a relaxing miniature landscape that combines the mountains and the sea. Sports and fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the hotel s heated indoor pool, the hi-tech gym, Pilates and aerobics studio, one floodlit tennis court, a 5* Padi scuba diving center, as well as a variety of water sports on the beach. Please clearly inform your arrival and departure details on the portal for airport pick-ups (only available from 9th to 12th of November). For the ones who require the Full Board Package, don t forget to fill the booking part on the portal and carefully double check the dates of booking if different from the arrival and departure days. You will be invoiced according to the dates registered in the portal.

4 Full Board package is only available on 10th and 11th November. Delegations should send via bank transfer or credit card the full balance or a 30% deposit by 10 September Any remaining balance must be paid by bank transfer or credit card by 12 October 2018 or in cash at the accreditation desk on arrival, where delegates will be given an invoice for the total cost of accommodation and/or accreditation. All banking charges must be paid by the sender. The organizers need to receive the net amount of the respective invoice. Please ensure that the federation s name and delegates names are stated on all payment and transfer documents. TRAVELLING DOCUMENTS Travelling to Cyprus is very easy. The documentation required varies, depending on your nationality. Citizens of the European Union (EU) countries, as well as of Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway may enter Cyprus with their national identity card, provided there is a photograph. Schengen Visa holders are allowed to enter the Republic of Cyprus The Schengen Visa has made traveling between 25 member countries (22 European Union states and 3 non-eu members) much easier and less bureaucratic. Traveling on a Schengen Visa means that the visa holder can travel to any (or all) member countries using one single visa, thus avoiding the hassle and expense of obtaining individual visas for each country. A Schengen visa allows the holder to travel freely within the Schengen countries for a maximum stay of up to 90 days in a 6 month period. Letter of Invitation Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to acquire an entry visa for Cyprus may write to the LOC address (synedrio@topkinisis.com) with copying UIPM at office@pentathlon.org, specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims at assisting the delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the congress. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support.

5 Participation in the General Assembly: The Members Federations are officially represented by no more than two delegates, any other additional delegates from the NF can only be observers and sit at the observer seats. According to the UIPM Rules on the Internal Organization (hereinafter RIO ), The Members must notify the Secretary General of the UIPM regarding their participation in the General Assembly at least 60 days before the beginning of an ordinary meeting of the General Assembly 10 September 2018 at latest.
