VALUES Discuss how sportsmanship relates to the actual rules and game play of a range of sports and activities. For example, if the referee misses a rule violation, should players point it out, even if they would gain from the error? What are some situations where the Australian Olympic Team has shown good sportsmanship? EXPLORE A LITTLE FURTHER Draw pictures of a London 2012 sport and display on the classroom wall. Write plays featuring characters competing in a range of sporting events. Collect photos and illustrations of different types of sports played at London Research other cultural events that are part of the London 2012 Olympic festival.
