Participation According to the European Masters Games spirit, entries are free and athletes do not represent their nation. Consequently, at EMG Lignano 2011 also non European athletes can compete. Registration deadline: May 16, 2011 EARLY REGISTRATION (with a 15% discount on the registration fee) July 31, 2011 FINAL REGISTRATION International Sport Federation Registration: - All participants must be members of their National Federation, recognized by and affiliated to Shooting Sport Federation and/of to Federation Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse. - All participants must submit a medical certificate concerning their fitness to practise Clay Target Sports. Antidoping: All athletes accept to be subjected to dope tests which will be carried out according to IMGA-WADA regulations. Insurance: All participants who have a TEAM card must submit an insurance policy for the accidents which are not included in the free health service assistance; all the other athletes must submit an accident insurance and health policy for hospitalizing and repatriation charges. Participants lacking such insurance can take it out with the insurance company of the Organizing Committee either at the Games Centre, or directly online, through a link that will be activated on our website Moreover, all participants shall sign, at the accreditation, a disclaimer of responsibility. You don t have to declare air guns and the proper ammunition at all, if they conform to the international standard. In any case they should be declared if you arrive at the airport filling in the proper form at your arrival and departure. All nations who do not belong to the European Union have to fill in the arms and ammunition form for shotgun and show it to the Customs Police authorities when they arrive at the airport. This invitation form will be sent by the Italian Shooting Federation to the Countries that will take part to the competition and do not belong to the European Union. Requests must arrive within the 30 th of June in order to permit the delivery on time and they should be sent to the Friuli Venezia Giulia FITAV Regional Committee, to the attention of the President Mr. Molaro Ivo. Phone Fax ivo@molaro.it Mobile (Molaro Elisa) All the federations that will arrive by car are going to show this form to the authorities at the European boarders. 4.6 Participations The shooters can register themselves both for the Compak Sporting and the Skeet, or for the Trap and the F.U. or for the Trap and the Double Trap. 4.7 Registration and medals: Where there are insufficient entries in a category/age class, the categories may be combined in a different way in order to conduct a viable competition. The awarding of medals will not be affected, so the athletes will be awarded medals in the age category/class in which they originally entered. In the categories where there will be not at least 6 shooters, the finals will be not made, and so the final ranking table will be considered according with the targets of the competition, excluding the targets for the final. 5. Trainings cost Each round of 25 targets will have a cost of 6,00 both for the training and the competition. 3/6

10 6. COMPETITIONS: STANDARDS AND RULES 6.1. The organization and the handling of the competitions will be held under the supervision of the Italian Shooting Federation and according with the rules of the Shooting International Federation (issf-sports.org), of the F.IT.A.S.C. ( and of the International Masters Games Association (I.M.G.A.). 6.2 Competition Rules The competiotion rules in force are the ones of the International Federation. 6.3 Technical meeting Detailed information will be given after the registrations closing date on the website Referees and Jury: The competition will be directed by a coordinator, a secretary responsible and shooting referees named by the Friuli Venezia Giulia FITAV Regional Committee Registration and medals: Where there are insufficient entries in a category/age class, the categories may be combined in a different way in order to conduct a viable competition. The awarding of medals will not be affected, that is, athletes will be awarded medals in the age category/class in which they originally entered. 6.6 Prize giving ceremonies: According to the European Masters Games spirit, entries are free and athletes do not represent their nation. Consequently, prize giving ceremonies will be carried out without hosting the flag and without playing the winner s National anthem. 7. EQUIPMENT Each shooter must have his own weapon and his cartridges, that can also be bought at the Shooting Range Armoury. 8. CLOTHING Each shooter can participate using cloths appropriate to the rules in force. 9. RENTING Weapon s rental is not foreseen. 10. VARIOUS: EXTRA CHARGE Each round of 25 targets will have a cost of 6,00 both for the training and the competition. 11. GAMES REGISTRATION FEE 11.1 Registration fees - Athletes: The European Masters Games Lignano 2011 registration fee is 102,00 for each athlete, and has to be paid for by May 16 th, 2011 (Early Registration that include a 15% discount). The last date for the registration fee payment is July 31 st,2011 (Final Registration). Should the registration fee be paid between May 17 th, 2011 (Early Registration), to July 31 st, 2011 (Final Registration) the fee would be 120,00.
