1 NORDIC YOUTH AND JUNIOR WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS COPENHAGEN, DENMARK The Danish Weightlifting Federation and the Weightlifting Club IK 99 hereby invites you to take part in the Nordic Youth & Junior Weightlifting Championships COMPETITION RULES Competition will be held according to the rules of the Nordic Weightlifting Federation and International Weightlifting Federation. PRELIMINARY CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE Friday, Oct. 12 th Arrival of the delegations to Hotel Østerport, Oslo Plads. 5, 2100 København Ø. Training possibility at the competition venue, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7, 2100 Kbh. Ø. Dinner at Hotel Østerport. 20:00: Technical Congress of the Nordic Weightlifting Federation at Hotel Østerport. Saturday, Oct. 13 th 08:00-10:00: Breakfast at Hotel Østerport 09:00-10:00: Weigh-in at Hotel Østerport 11:00: Competition at Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7, 2100 Kbh. Ø. 20:00: Banquet at Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7, 2100 Kbh. Ø. Sunday, Oct. 14 th 08:00-10:00: Breakfast at Hotel Østerport 09:00-10:00: Weigh-in at Hotel Østerport 11:00: Competition at Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7, 2100 Kbh. Ø. App. 15:00: Departure of the delegations.

2 The organizer reserves the right to reorganize the competition schedule according to the number of entries. ACCOMMODATIONS Delegation members participating in the event will be accommodated at Hotel Østerport, Oslo Plads. 5, 2100 København Ø. The hotel is situated next to the train station of Østerport! COMPETITION VENUE The competition will take place at Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7, 2100 Kbh. Ø. During the Championships Eleiko barbells will be used. ACCREDITATION The accreditation procedures will be done at Hotel Østerport on Friday October 12 th All team leaders will receive food stamps for their respective delegation at the Technical Congress. ENTRIES Preliminary Entry Forms Must be returned to the Organizing Committee before the 9 th of August Final Entry Forms Must be returned to the Organizing Committee kontor@danskvaegtloeftning.dk before the 16 th of September FEES The accommodation fees including full board and banquet Saturday evening: Single room per person per day Double room per person per day Triple room per person per day Quadruple room per person per day No entry fee. Fees are to be paid simultaneously with submission of Final Entry to; Fyns Bank, Oestergade 42, 5610 Assens, Danmark IBAN: DK SWIFT: VESBDK22 INSURANCE All Federations must undertake full moral and financial responsibility for their respective delegations regarding health and in case of accidents and damages. TRANSPORTATION The Organizing Committee will provide free transportation between Hotel Østerport and competition place. Awards Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for the first, second and third places respectively in the total. The best male and the best female junior lifter as well as the best boy and the best girl (under 17) will receive a special award. The best team for juniors (men and women) and for under 17 (boys and girls) will receive a team award. Don t forget to bring the team awards with you!
