2 TRELLEBORG OPEN 2014 INVITATION Dear Mr. President On behalf of the Swedish Taekwondo Federation and Trelleborg s Taekwondo Club I am proud to Invite You and Your athletes to participate in the Swedish Taekwondo Championship, the famous Trelleborg Open 2014, which will be held in Trelleborg, Sweden, on 8 th and 9 th February This year, Trelleborg Open is granted as WTF G1 as well as ETU A-class tournament. We guarantee high quality organization and competition - with only the best international referees worldwide in order to guarantee maximum transparency, fair play & impartiality for the athletes. Trelleborg s Taekwondo Club and the Swedish Taekwondo Federation will be honoured to welcome you all. We hope that you will enjoy the Championship as well as a great stay in Trelleborg, Sweden. One recommended by the National Taekwondo Federation Member of STF, ETU or WTF. WTF Global License is mandatory for all age categories. Saturday: Senior Male: -54,-58,-63,-68. Sunday: Senior Male: -74,-80,-87, +87. Senior Female: -62,-67,-73, +73. Junior Male: -63,-68,-73,-78, +78. Junior Female: -55,-59,-63,-68, +68. Cadet Male: -53,-57,-61,-65, +65. Cadet Female: -47,-51,-55,-59, +59. All Minors: -26,-28,-30,-32, -34,-38,-42,-46,-50, -54,-57, +57. All the Minors male/female will be competing on Sunday. Competition Rules: Time mode: Age: The new WTF Competition rules and in some cases overruled by rules of the STF. For Juniors and Seniors we are using the latest WTF Competition rules strictly. For Minors/Cadets head kicks are not allowed according to Swedish laws. 3 X 1.30 minutes, for WTF-G1 only. 2 X 2.00 minutes, for all Minors, Cadets and Juniors. Seniors 18 years and over (1996 and before) Juniors 14 years up to 17 (1997, 1998, 1999) Cadets 12 years up to 14 (2000, 2001, 2002) Minors 7 years up to 11 (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006). Protective Equipment & Uniform: The participants shall wear the WTF recognised Taekwondo Uniform. Daedo PSS will be used at this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All athletes must bring their own Daedo sensor socks. In case of necessity the sensor socks will also be for sale at the Sport Hall during the registration. Head gears, Groin/Forearm/shin guards and Gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Head Gear only blue and red colour is permitted. Mouth piece is compulsory! (Only white or transparent.)

To register and login to the service please use this link: DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT THE LATEST January 9 th, Entries after Deadline will not be accepted. Entries will stop when we reach 1000 players. IMPORTANT: If the athlete registered on-line ( does not take part in the competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before the deadline (January 9th, 2014), his/her team official must fully (100%) pay his/her Entry fee for participation. Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline! Referees: Only International Referees will be accepted. An official invitation for the referees will be sent to all Federations. 5 Entry Fee: (Euro) for each Contestant. The Entry Fee must be paid and specified to the Bank Account of Trelleborgs Taekwondoklubb. Application forms to be sent to: Simultaneously with the application form, admissions & hotel costs must be paid in advance in Euros by transaction to: Trelleborg Taekwondo Club Bank: Swedbank, Trelleborg, Sweden Account: SE Swift Code: SWEDSESS Payment: Entry Fees and Accommodation must be paid before the Dead line (January 9 th ). Note: Reservations and Registrations are only valid when payment have been received and confirmed by the bank and the Organizer. Incomplete application forms or applications without entry fees are invalid and will be sent back. Applications and payments shall be sent at the same time. Receipt of Entry Fees, Hotel Accommodations and applications shall be sent by . Payments must be done per team or club not by individual. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after January 9 th, 2014 will be fined 50 % of the total hotel Hotel reservations that are cancelled after January 15 th, 2014 will be fined 100 % of the total hotel DAEDO Electronic Body Protectors will be provided by the OC, for all the competitors. PSS DAEOO Socks will be available for sale during registration. Only WTF approved equipment will be allowed to use in this tournament (even dobok etc.). Head gear, groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory! (White or transparent.) All the players must bring their own full equipment except body protector. 1 coach for every 5 contestants will be permitted. Additional coaches must pay 50 Euro/coach. Please take into consideration the use of two separate sport halls. Only competitors and coaches have admittance to the field of play. Coaching is only allowed in sportswear. All coaches must be 18 years or older. First Aid will be provided by the organisation and is only to be used in case of an emergency!

6 Insurance: The organisation and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any damages, violence, loses and injuries during the stay in Sweden. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Sweden. If not, this will have to be paid in cash. The closest airport to Trelleborg is Kastrup, Copenhagen - Denmark. Train to Hyllie-Malmö, Sweden takes 15 minutes. If you need transportation from Hyllie to Trelleborg, please confirm your flight schedule and the Organizing Committee will provide transportation. The cost for transportation (From/to Hyllie + to/from Sporthall) is 50 Euro per person and should be paid in advance no later than January 9 th. If you are flying to Malmö Airport (Sturup), the Organizing Committee may provide transportation if you wish. The cost is 50 Euro per person. Please notice that the 50 Euro fee also provides you with transportation between Hotel and sport hall during your competition day. 7 Information about Hotel: Fee for one single room is 120 Euro/night/room for one person including breakfast. Fee for one double room is 150 Euro/night/room for two persons including breakfast. The payment for the Hotel, the Fee for participation and the Transportation back and forth from Hyllie/Sturup to Trelleborg should be paid together in advance no later than January 9 th, Reminder!
