1 R E G U L A T I O N 1. General Information 1.1. The competition will be held on November 16, 2018 in Fujimi city, Japan It will take place in Fujimi Gymnasium (Fujimi City General Gymnasium), Tsuruma, Fujimi-shi, Saitama Japan 1.3. The competition will be held according to the UWW rules. 2. Participation 2.1. Participation at the 2018 Asian Schoolgirls Championships in Freestyle is open to all Asian national wrestling federations affiliated to the UWW, provided that they have fulfilled their financial and information obligations towards the UWW according to the UWW Regulations Every competitor must be between 14 and 15 years old, 13 years old allowed with a medical and parental certificate and must conform to the requirements of the Wrestling Rules. Nationality will be checked with the passport at the weigh-in Entries must be sent to the Japanese Wrestling Federation. 16 th of September 2018., Preliminary Entry 16 th of October, 2018 Final Entry 2.4. Each country can enter one athlete per weight category 2.5. Composition of delegation Wrestlers Leader Coaches Referees Medical Total *1 1 7 & less * No referee required for less than 3 wrestlers. 3. Technical Conditions 3.1. The competition will be held according to the UWW Rules of Wrestling The competition will take place in the following weight categories: (29-33), 36, 39, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62, & 66 kg 3.3. Three (3) UWW approved mats will be used for the competition. 3.4 The organizing committee will bear the costs of first aid during the competition. 4. Referees 4.1. Category I, II, and III referee may officiate during the competition. 5. Official Ceremonies 1

2 5.1. Each participating team may be asked in advance by the organizing committee to present national flag or national anthem for the opening ceremony. 6. Financial Conditions 6.1. The delegations leaders and individual attendees must pay their financial obligations to the Organizing Committee at the latest upon arrival. The accreditations will be made only after the payment. It is recommended to pay by bank transfer in advance. All participants and accompanying persons are required to pay the Organizing Committee the sum of USD 150/day/person for accommodation, meals and local transportation The minimum length of accreditation is three (3) days Delegations arriving with more members than allowed or staying longer than the authorized period must pay the sum of USD 180/day/person All delegations making payment by bank transfer, must provide the Organizing Committee at the time of accreditation with an official document from their bank confirming the transfer execution or in process. 6.6 Any delegation that sends the entry by name by October 16th, but does not arrive or arrives with less wrestlers or accompanying persons than initially agreed, will have to pay the Organizing Committee the hotel costs for the number of people initially agreed Delegation leaders will be responsible for all damages caused by the members of the delegation during their stay Each delegation is required to pay USD 100 deposit for the room keys and for the possible damages at the accreditation upon arrival. The deposits will be returned at the time of check-out in case there are no missing keys nor damages. 2

3 7. Accommodation, food and transport 7.1.The Organizing Committee will provide transportation for the delegations from their arrival at the international airport to the event. Either Tokyo airports can be used at convenience - Narita International Airport or Haneda International Airport. 7.2 Accommodation for all delegations will be in double rooms with full sanitary facilities. 7.3 Meals will be served to accreditation holders. 8. Journalists-television-video recording- internet 8.1.Accreditation must be requested from the organizing federation. 8.2 Journalists are responsible for their own accommodation and board. 9. Miscellaneous 9.1 The license is not obligatory for this event. 9.2.Although encouraged, it is not mandatory to wear singlets according to UWW new guidelines 9.3.Countries which need visas for entry into Japan must contact the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence or the closest Japanese diplomatic mission designated by their country. 9.4 In the country where visas are required, it is recommended to start the application process early. For the country requiring invitation letters for the visa application, we ask you to send us the copies of passports together with the approximate flight details (dates and airlines to be used) and the name of the airport of your country to be used for departure and arrival. 10.
