2 ABOUT The Ottawa region has a history rich in equestrian sport, in 2015 Wesley Clover Parks began building upon our community s passion for horse sport with the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments. Taking place over three weeks, the 2019 Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments encapsulate the Ottawa Welcome in June and back to back CSI3* Ottawa International I and CSI3* Ottawa International II competitions in July. WHAT MAKES THE OTTAWA EQUESTRIAN TOURNAMENTS DIFFERENT? Wesley Clover Parks boasts a world-class Grand Prix field, one of a rare few international level grass jumping arenas remaining in Canada. Continuous upgrades to our equestrian infrastructure include the construction of international quality allweather jumper and hunter rings, and significant upgrades and expansion to stabling facilities. In just four short years, the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments have become one of the premier show jumping competition series and equestrian sport venues in Canada. This rapid growth shows no sign of slowing down, with more competitors and spectators expressing excitement about these events every year. The Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments continue to raise the bar within the industry, placing equal importance on spectator experience as that of our competitors. The proximity of Wesley Clover Parks to a major city also makes these urban horse shows unique events for equestrian enthusiasts, and Ottawa residents and visitors alike. CAMPING The Wesley Clover Parks Campground is the closest campground to Downtown Ottawa, offering 176 sites for tent, cabin and RV camping. FIELD SPORTS Our soccer Centre of Excellence now includes a FIFA grade turf field, four full-sized grass soccer pitches, and grass training areas. WINTER SPORTS Our growing network of over 18km of trails for skiing, snowshoeing and orienteering is a popular winter attraction for Ottawa residents and visitors. EVENTS Wesley Clover Parks is a fantastic venue for large scale music, entertainment, charity, community and athletic events. Past events have included the Color Vibe, Badass Dash, and RBC Race for The Kids. Future plans include a multi-day country music festival in the coming years.
