9 The Legacy for Sport As a result of being part of the Commonwealth Games, the University of Manchester: Developed an internal scholarship programme as part of its sport service Became a regional hub for the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS), which is now 10 years old Grew its capacity to support dual careers It now delivers networked support services to athletes annually
