2 An Evening With Champions A Letter from the Corporate Sponsorship Chairs To whom it may concern, We are writing to you on behalf of An Evening with Champions, a student-run organization at Harvard University. An Evening with Champions annually produces figure skating exhibitions with audiences of over 4,000 people benefiting the Jimmy Fund of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit devoted to the research and treatment of cancer in children and adults. We thought your organization would be a great fit as a potential sponsor for our event! Over the past 43 years, An Evening with Champions has raised over $2.5 million in the fight against cancer, making it the most charitable organization at Harvard. Our show has featured the talent of Olympic figure skaters, including Yuna Kim, Michelle Kwan, Paul Wylie, Oksana Baiul, and many more. This year s show is Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Harvard University s Bright Hockey Center in Cambridge, MA. Your organization would gain a variety of exposure opportunities that vary with sponsorship level in exchange for its support. Additionally, contributions are tax-deductible and we are able to tailor packages to meet your business needs. An Evening with Champions is completely student run. That means that about 98% of your donation directly goes to cancer research. Unlike other non-profit organizations, we have no overhead fees. The only fees we pay are expenses to pay for the organization of the show as well as travel arrangements for the skaters.
